Brazil

In Brazil, the Ministry of Health made a mistake and reported it to the Estadao daily. There are 212 million people living in Brazil and 243 million patient records have been leaked. The larger number is because there are also deceased people involved. The error is said to be due to a COVID-19 registration system where the password for the files could simply be found in the code of the site for 6 months.

Israel

In Israel, a company called "BeeFree" has developed a drone to help farmers herd livestock. The use of the drone would improve the health of the animals, the company said. They call the device "click and herd". If you work with the drone, this would be faster and also more efficient, in contrast to working with people and / or dogs. The animals would also be less stressed.

Microsoft

A function was built into Microsoft that could show the individual performance of the user in the Microsoft 365 package. This allowed the employer to gain insight into how his employees use Excel, Word, Outlook and the Teams conference service. During a period of 28 days, even the usernames and the related actions were visible. After frequent criticism, Microsoft has now decided to remove this feature. See their blog post here.
