Planning is crucial

Hello dear WA-Crew!

During this week I have come upon several contributions within the WA community concerning how important it ist to make a plan in order to achieve your goals. These posts have made me to reflect about my own planning. I have come to the conclusion that if I want to succeed I have to make a more detailed plan than I have until now. The time is running and if I do not do a schedule what to do when and in what time, I won’t achieve my goal as fast as I wish to. From now on I want to do a detailed plan about my daily tasks, weekly goals and monthly achievements.

Not having a plan where to go is like going by car without having a map or a gps navigation system on board. You won’t find your destination in time, the worst case is not to find it at all. You will have to do U-turns, you will drive unnecessary kilometres, you will have to pay for extra fuel, you will get frustrated and perhaps you have to end your journey because you have got lost.

We do not want this to happen!
Planning is crucial.
If you have got a plan, you have got a future.

Great advice Pernilla, planning is key to this whole marketing gig, if we don't have that blueprint it is so easy to get side tracked.
Great image, thank you for sharing your insights.

Alexander, I'm very pleased to read your comment.

Well, it is my aim to get better and better in planning and settting goals. I still have to look out for not getting side tracked.
;-)

It is great that you have used your own picture, Pernilla.

Thank you Melani!
Appreciate you reading my post.
Yes, better to use a picture I have taken myself, then there is no copyright issue.
Have a nice weekend - relaxing inbetween.
;-)

Really like the image and the quote Pernilla. Yes, planning is important as it give us a visual outline of our short and long term goals. We can then figure out the step we need to take to achieve them and also make adjustment if need be. Thank for the good advise.

Jerome, it always cheers me up to see you!
The encouragement from you and all my other WA-friends strengthens my willpower.

There are different sort of goals to concider. On the one hand you have to know what your goals are. On the other hand you have to set time targets. For example it is not that easy to plan how long it takes till I have done this or that exercise throughout the course. I hope, over time, I will get more skilled setting my goals.

Plan, Plan, achieve, plan next step.....

Very glad to see you again Mickey!
Hope your business is thriving.
To do my planning is now on my plan ;-)
Have a good journey, until our paths will cross again!

Good to see you Arthur!
Yes, Plan and Work, that's it, and relax a bit in between.
:-)

Hi there Pernilla,
Great post and yes I agree with you 100%
we need to outline where we are going and where we intend to go with our websites.
goal setting is important.
Cheers....PB

So great to see you Phil!

Happy that you like my post. Appreciate it a lot to hear your comment.

Having this post published here at WA makes me even more committed to set goals.

Wish you a nice weekend working and relaxing in the garden!
:-)

Beautiful message Pernilla

Happy to see you Alexandra.
I feel honoured of your compliment, you as a master of motivational posts!
:-)

Hi Pernilla, I have been pondering on this too, so back to reviewing and re-focussing my plan! I love your foto, where was it taken? Sue :)

Sue, lovely to meet you again!

It takes some time to set the daily, the weekly and the monthly goals, but I believe in the end we'll recover the "lost" time by doing the right things. It needs some willpower to make the planning to a habit. Have to work on that myself.

The photo was taken in Denmark. It is the bridge between the two big Islands Fyn and Sjaelland. For a couple of years ago my husband and I traveled around in Denmark by car. Beautiful!

Wish you strength and willpower,
but first have a relaxing weekend.
:-)

Thanks for letting me know about the photo, it is always interesting to see and hear about other places! You have a restful weekend too, Sue :)
