5 things, that you really like to do
Hello to you all!
Most of us are running around doing daily chores at home and at work. Of course these chores has to be done, but we have to ask ourselves is it really necessary to do all of it.
Here is a task I read about for some time ago. After having read and done this task myself, I started to think about my daily life and what I´m doing.
- Write down for yourself on a paper or in a digital device 5 things that you really like to do. For my part I really like to spend time with my near and dear, read books and to enjoy the garden - just to name a few of my preferred activities.
- The second thing for you to do is to write down, what you actually do on an average day.
- Now compare the lists with eachother. How many of the things on the list are things that you are passionate about?
After this small task most people realise how much time they are spending doing things they really are not passionate about. As I did that for myself, I was shaken to see how much time I spend doing things I actually do not really want to do.
Since then I reconsider what I´m doing and if it is necessary to do it at all or if it is possible to do it faster or in an easier way so that I have time left to do things I really want to.
Now I can add designing websites and communicate with WA friends as preferred daily activities.

wow, your post really hit home for me. I did the exercise as you suggested and am just amazed.
I like reading and art. But when I did the second list and compared I discovered I have not done any art for over 12 months because I didn't have time.
Today, I am going to have a good look at my priorities and make a new list.
Thank you for the inspiration and showing me something I have been missing out on.
