About Pereirasteph
Joined October 2017
I enjoy people, love connecting with them and establishing new relationships. Completely open about my life and who I am.

Just joined WA at the start of Oct 17'. My aim in life is to be established in a community somewhere in the world (Mumbai - India) where I can make a difference and help people around the community in the coming years of my life. The only way I can do that is by ensuring I have a business model which allows me to commit time to the community around me and importantly my family.

Hence, I am believing and have a goal that I can live a life devoted to family and God by working hard with WA and ensuring I can achieve financial freedom to find time to give to the community around me.

Apart from that currently I work in a church in London and serve the community in various ways. A bit about me - love reading, studying, playing instruments and the like.

How much money would you be happy earning?
I want to start by making my first dollar

How much would you be ecstatic earning?
Building slowly from my first dollar upwards!

And how much time are you willing to invest to achieve these goals?
Starting realistically at 7-10 hours a week and building on that.

I really like that you're being extremely realistic and thinking about right now!

That is very interesting, that is about as genuine as it sounds

I appreciate how realistic- and optimistic- you are in your goals!

Those are VERY achievable goals, Stephan! Starting small and working your way up in time is definitely much more likely to set you up for success than aiming to work <5 hours per week, or aiming for a massive amount of money way too quickly.

If I can help you achieve these goals in any way, please let me know! I'm happy to help however I can.

Congrats and welcome to WA. You are at the place to realize your goals but with one caveat... YOU must work on the training course. All the task must be completed and ask for help when you need it. You do have a fine supporting community here to help you out, myself included! Best wishes on your journey.

Hey Stephan, how's everything coming along now that you've been a member for a few days? I hope you've found your way into the "Get Started Here" training toward the top of the menu on the left and that you're enjoying yourself so far!

Some people gravitate towards the "Affiliate Bootcamp" training which is something I don't recommend right off of the bat if you've never made money in internet marketing before. I have a detailed blog post covering this topic if it's something you're wrestling with and you'd like me to send you the link.

I know that may be a bit confusing, but if you have any questions at all don't hesitate to ask! I hope you're enjoying your time here so far :)

Hi Pribs! So nice to hear from you! Yes, moving along well.

I have one question regarding keywords:

So I understood keyword search - finding out words which are key to building your blog. I needed to clarify one thing: So say I find keywords for example - "verticle basketball soles", "basketball skills and drills". So I have decided on 2 keywords. What am I supposed to do with the keywords now? - Do I write posts to hit those specific keywords? If yes, (a) how many posts per keyword (b) how many times is that keyword supposed to come in that post and if not - what am I to do with the keywords?

I don't want to make this relationship a one way thing - so how have you been doing? What new developments are happening in your affiliate marketing journey? Apart from affiliate marketing - what have you been up to in life - how is family, and what sort of things keep you busy in the week?

Glad to have you as support!

and yes - shoot me the link, will have a look at it.

Here's the link! http://bit.ly/1FB3Rb9

You write one post per keyword you choose. Sometimes you can combine 2-3 keywords per post/article, but I write one post per keyword that I find and it works very well. You will still end up ranking for many unintended keywords in time.

It looks like you're moving along very nicely, Stephan! I see you have your profile all setup and hopefully you've been engaging with the community a bit!

I keep a pretty good pulse of my referrals here, especially the ones that are working hard to help themselves (and so do the co-founders of Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle and Carson), so if you're willing to work hard here, I'm happy to help support you every way that I can!

Let me know if there's anything I can help you with.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Thanks so much pribs. I have decided on a niche but I am unsure of which one to use and go towards? I am thinking of creating a website on the kickboxing space and deciding the boxing gloves and equipment you could purchase with that. The issue with that is - is that too much of a niche, should I take a step back and say do it on martial arts which includes a lot more of that kind of sports or stick to a particular niche (kickboxing) within that niche (martial arts)? Hope that makes sense?

Or is that a bad idea for a niche entirely?

I am starting and I am unsure about what to do or how to go about it. Your help in this would be good! Always keeping my parents in mind as my motivation to keep going and work hard toward this and helping them in their retirement. Your encouragement is really helpful in this!

Here's what I'd do: I'd select a domain that was more "martial arts" oriented, so that I could expand down the road if I needed to (that way I'm not totally boxed in to kickboxing alone). I'd treat it like a kickboxing niche site until:

1) I wrote about everything I wanted to write about

OR

2) I ran out of material

And then I'd start expanding, which wouldn't be a problem, because the domain/brand you selected from the beginning didn't "box you in".

Okay thanks that does help. So great to get your thoughts. The issue with that is for example if im searching for kickboxing and finding gloves to buy - I'd generally write kickboxing gloves on Google. How could I try to reach out to that traffic whilst keeping a name which says Martian arts? Cause earlier I was thinking of having keywords in the website saying kickboxing gloves and gear but based on your feedback which is logical it would make sense to go for martial arts equipment - but how do I reach out to the traffic which search kickboxing gear, etc? Any solution to that?

You can get ranked for "kickboxing gloves" while have a more general domain. Just because you're more martial arts focused, broadly speaking, does NOT somehow keep you from not being able to rank for kickboxing terms. You optimize for rankings through MANY other things outside of your domain name.

So you're saying stick with a name for example "martial arts gear" and if people do search for kickboxing - it would still possibly bring up martial arts gear.

Exactly, yes. "StoppingScams.com", my site, ranks for A BUNCH of stuff that has nothing to do with the keyword "stopping", "scams", or "stopping scams". Your domain name does not determine whether you can or cannot rank for certain topics.

Hey Stephan! I wanted to start you off with a quick note that could SIGNIFICANTLY impact your success with Wealthy Affiliate. Read this entire message if you are serious about being successful in internet marketing (it's lengthy, but I'm not joking when I say that this advice could make or break your entire internet marketing career):

1) You'll need to work consistently and hard. There's going to be a lot to learn in the beginning and you may feel overwhelmed at a point, but keep pressing forward and you'll make it through. It happened to me and every other successful internet marketer at some point, and the only way to become successful in this industry is to push past that overload whenever you get there.

Do yourself a favor and commit to a number of hours that you can work each week right now. It doesn't have to be massive, but it should be more than 10 between evenings and weekends at least. Just remember the more you work each week, the faster you'll learn and draw closer to success.

After you've picked the number of hours you can work each week, commit to working that much for AT LEAST six months - a year would be better. You won't see results immediately in this industry, and being consistent is the key. Pick a number of hours you can work each week, then work those hours for at least six months. It's something you've probably never done in this industry, and this advice alone will make a HUGE difference in your chances at succeeding with internet marketing as long as you take it seriously and STICK WITH IT.

2) I recommend starting off with this training (which you can access with your free account): It just scratches the surface of the MASSIVE amount of helpful content in WA, but you'll get a good "feel" for the teaching style here and begin to see the power of all of the great things they're teaching here at Wealthy Affiliate.

3) DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE COMMUNITY. Two of the best places you can go to for help when you get stuck are the "Live Chat" and the "Classrooms" sections located on the panel to your left. You'll find direction and inspiration through the community here, which is one of the reasons I recommend WA so highly.

4) Finally, you don't ever have to upgrade to the premium account here at Wealthy Affiliate if you don't want to. You'll have limited access using your free account for as long as you wish. HOWEVER, if you're serious about internet and affiliate marketing then you should invest in the premium membership for AT LEAST one month. You could look back on it years from now and see it as a pivotal moment in your internet marketing career, but you never will if you don't at least give it a try.

Check it out for a few days though - you don't need to upgrade right now. Make sure it's a good fit for you, and if you upgrade within the first 7 days you'll receive your first month's membership at more than 50% off. I keep my membership active and recurring every month so I can be here for the people I refer like you, so realize that I'm putting my money where my mouth is here!

On top of that, if you upgrade to a premium membership at the discounted rate within the first 7 days I have a special bonus EXCLUSIVE to people that join WA through me and upgrade within the first week of creating their free account. This bonus will show you how to be twice as successful with WA or any other legitimate internet marketing program out there and gives you some very valuable video lessons (which I recorded for you personally, of course) to ensure you get off to the right step in your internet marketing business.

I keep a close watch on the list of people that upgrade from starter to premium, so I'll send the bonus your way within 24 hours. If you upgrade and don't receive it within that time frame for some reason, just post on my WA profile and let me know!

I don't offer that bonus so you'll spring for the membership and make me more money, I offer the bonus just in case you needed that tiny "push" to make sure you invest in this training because I know that you will use for the rest of your IM career and it could change your life. I've referred hundreds of people now and I have NEVER had anyone tell me they were dissatisfied.

Best of luck to you! You're about to embark on a journey that could change your life forever, so make sure you take it seriously, put in the time and effort, and expect great things in return!

You know where to find me,
Ian Pribyl

P.S. I know I've thrown A LOT of information your way in this message, but I wanted to give you one last thing. Here is a video tour of the members' area to help ensure you get the most out of your free membership as possible: http://youtu.be/NDmMcMtMB8c

Sorry for sending so much your way at once, I just want to set you up for success as much as I possibly can!
