Understanding life
When you understand that life is a test, you realize that nothing is insignificant in your life. Even the smallest incident has significance for your character. Every day is an important day, and every second is a growth opportunity to develop character, to demonstrate love, or to depend on God, and do your best. Some tests seem enormous and overwhelming while others you don’t even notice. But all of them have implications
Never forget that everything in your life really belongs to God, your home, children, job ----- just about everything. You’re just a caretaker, a trustee, a steward of it all. It’s your privilege to enjoy it but it’s also your responsibility to faithfully use it the way it is to be used.
Our culture says, “If you don’t own it, you won’t take care of it.” But I live by a higher standard. “Because I own it, I must take the best care of it that I can.”
At the end of your work, your life you’ll be evaluated and rewarded according to how well you handled what was entrusted to you. That means everything you do, even simple daily chores, has implications. If you treat everything as a trust you are promised three rewards. First, you’ll be given an affirmation, Good job! Well done! Next, you’ll receive a promotion and be given greater responsibility. You’ll be put in charge of many things, and then you’ll be honored with a celebration.
Life is what you make of it, so if you understand life make the best of it you will be rewarded.

I recently had an class where we touched on the meaning of life, I agree with you when you say that life is what you make of it. I belive that we are not born with some pre determined destiny. I think that life has no specific meaning and that we should just make do with what life gives us. That's why we can be or do anything. All that matters is just that you have to work for what you want.

I believe everything happens for a reason and that if you can't be trusted with the smallest things, you won't be given more. You're right that life is what you make it and your perspective. Is your glass 1/2 full or 1/2 empty?
I like that concept 1/2 full or 1/2 empty. Thanks for your comments really appreciate it
