I was just thinking if it would be useful and motivational as well as educational to have some kind of statistics on top earners from WA, say 100 top earners every month that ne

I'm firmly against the idea because while it might be encouraging to know how well others may be doing, for some it can be equally discouraging, particularly as WA members are famously secretive about their real businesses for commercial reasons. I'm not a great fan of the "money objectives" thread either, which is why my only stated objective is to cover my fees here, which I did in the third week.

Anyone coming here (free) can wander around and soon realise that this isn't hype, or a scam. You can read about people who aren't earning a penny after 12 months and people who made a living wage in 6. What does that tell anyone about WA? Nothing. All it tells you is that people have differing abilities, levels of application or maybe just plain nous. Anyone who perseveres with the training will have a level of success, tempered only by their ability, or lack of it.

If you want to learn from people with a proven level of success, follow those in the ambassador stream. Simples.

Good point! Thanks Paul!

In my opinion it would make WA look like a scam, you see this all the time with shoddy pyramid, matrix and Ponzi schemes, "Last month we paid out hundreds of millions of $$$$$...." or "John S. made $12,000 in just two days with us". Ugh. I think one of the things that most attracted me to WA was that were no promises, no pics of yachts, flash cars or Costa Rican mansions. WA obviously wasn't some shoddy MLM or network marketing system. It was a legitimate training centre. Just my 2¢. :) Rich.

You are right abut WA Rich. That is the reason I joined too. It is even more important to show that you can be successful online in a legitimate business of your own that is not all hype, but real successes achieved over length of time, not overnight. With WA it is possible and why not let world know?

But where's the proof?! I imagine none of the successful non-referrers like myself are going to be willing to let K&C have access to our bank accounts on a daily basis. I very much doubt they'd have the time nor inclination to "manage" this. If you're talking about referrers then I doubt they would wish to be identified and a leaderboard of earnings would make it pretty easy to guess who is who. Also, again, it just looks "scammy" to my eyes, it makes it look like the raison d'etre of WA is join and then get other people to join which for the majority it isn't. It would also beg the question to a newcomer, could they trust such a leaderboard of earnings? Again, where is the proof?! Rich.

Having WA have access to somebody's banks account is not what I meant with this. Neither is voluntary reporting by successful people. Following that logic, why do we even have blogs asking people about their financial goals? Everybody else is doing it. Doesn't that look scammy too? Oh well, if we can help somebody to succeed by telling the truth, why would that be offensive? I got your point about "John S. made $12,000 in just two days with us", but the truth is we would not have such comments here. I am not trying to get some snooping on successful people, just find an honest way, truthful statistics that may encourage somebody to try it here! That's all.

Then apologies, perhaps I'm missing the point of what exactly you would like to happen?! :) Rich.

this is just a suggestion for sake...

You are absolutely right! I am so surprised how some people get so defensive about something that is just plain and simple numbers. We also have discussion forums about this here at WA like: "What are your MONEY goals" etc. Why would that be any different if WA reveals that it is possible by publishing their statistics? Beats me!

atleast we know those people who are really good at it...or can we just show those who we believe are successful in wealthy affiliate...

great idea..

They would never do that.

There is another problem with this question. I know several of the Top earners here will Not disclose their websites much less their niches.

Well you are right! I personally really do not care how much money anybody makes, it's not my business or of any interest especially, we really do not know each other here personally, so to me it is all not what I wanted to accomplish here. But WA site keeps track of all the members and WA site can release that ranking without member's approval. If it is about privacy, it's fine too, they do not have to release any names or websites, just pure, plain anonymus statistics of successes here! It may help some folks.

Not all sites created by WA members are hosted here so there is no way WA can trace that site, just to let you know:)

That's true Nenita, I understand that some members have totally different hosting and many do not promote WA but their own idea sites, but that makes no difference in what I am saying here. You totally misunderstood me about message I tried to convey to new members. It is even more supportive for WA to release statistics of what WA "MY STATS" they have for each member under "Affiliate Program" tab. They can release that statistics just by numbers 1-100, not names and wouldn't it be great to know how much WA pays to members per month to attract new members here? People get attracted to a program that says "We paid $100,000 (or whatever) in commissions last month to our members". We all can benefit from that and use those stats in our own promotions. That's all!

WA is a training centre to teach us how to run our own business online. Most businesses don't disclose their earnings and the same would be true for many people here. Some may offer to disclose but I don't think it would be an accurate picture as I'm sure most wouldn't. While I understand your idea I just don't think many will participate. But rest assured, many are successful here, the training does work.

I agree that training works, I love it myself! The only reason I started this discussion is because I think it may help some people. We do have our anonymity, and even if we don't, why would it be shameful to make money? I think of capitalism as a success and people should be proud that they succeeded and not hiding from others!

Someone's Income is very personal. I was raised and I believe correctly so, that you never ask anyone how much money they make. It's just really in bad taste to do that.

Nobody is asking anything of anybody. I understand that we are close community here. It is just plain statistics, nothing personal! May motivate some people, that's all!

I actually have to agree with lanesmarie myself. The discussion groups etc is where we learn from experienced ones etc and besides everyone in WA are at different levels of learning and they learn at their own pace. :)

I totally agree with you that different people are at different levels. I just don't understand why it would be detrimental to see at a glance how are the most successful people here at WA doing? It would hurt nobody and if it helps just a few newcomers to set their goals based on those stats, it would be good for WA and all of us, I think!

If I regularly publish my blog on Wealthy Affiliate site which I plan on doing, how can I get to publish those same articles on Street Articles site? Thanks!

So, what is a better way to get somebody to join WA, publishing in WA blogs or SA?

Kyle says that initially 90% of what you write should go on your website, which is the one your SA articles will link to.

All content at WA and at SA must be unique,
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wealthy-affiliate-the-open-education-project/spam-is-a-no-no and as others have said below you'd simply be creating a duplicate content anyway. :) Rich.

You're not going to use same blog that you publish here at WA and publish it SA that is called duplication. However, you can do some tweaking and reformat the blog:)

I wouldn't publish the same exact article in WA and SA. That would be duplicate content
