How many people have been sold a dream in their chosen Network Marketing company. Everyone, that is why you signed up to it, or are going to sign up to it. Now you've done it, gone on the training, whether online or offline. Have you bombarded and upset your friends with the latest craze? Used up your supposed 'warm' market, you know the one, write down 200 people you know... Go for 20 no's per day and are feeling that your hitting your head against a brick wall. Even worse, you've noticed that your FaceBook group of friends is somehow dwindling? I hope this isn't you, if it is, it's time to rebuild, if not well done 👍.

So what do you need to do? You want to have a system in place which enables you to sell your product or service, and also enables you to recruit, most importantly to the correct people. How?

Brand yourself - you have to be your brand, companies come and go, you don't.
Market properly - make sure you are using 'attraction marketing', this is where you build a foundation so strongly, that people come and want to work with you. Learn how to properly build your website, having keywords which will drive traffic (people) to you. Create an email list (that is yours - can't be shut down if your deemed to be misbehaving on any of the social networking sites), have a great and well driven social networking presence. Make it so it can be duplicated in your team.

Follow up - you start to get enquiries, what do you do with them, how can you convert them. When it's a yes, brilliant (if they meet your criteria and are suitable for your team). Everyone gets no's, but sometimes it's a no, not for now, so rather than pester, ask permission to add them to your Facebook group, email list or whatever method you have learned. At a later stage, they may decide that it is the right time for them and your periodic 'follow-ups' make you the goto person.

Learn in a structured way - All of the above is a path that has been tread by many people in many different ways. Your outcome is a result of learning, implementing and moving forwards towards your goals.

So to answer the original question - does Network Marketing and Wealthy Affiliate work well together, Yes - absolutely, the training is second to none and the community is what makes us strong.

Hi Peter! I'm involved in a network marketing company, and I love it, but am also tired of the "old school" methods. I joined WA because I decided to do something completely new and just have my MLM business on the side, but now I'm thinking maybe I can combine the two! Is this something that you have done successfully? If so, how is it going and do you have any tips?

Shannon,
I've been busy in my offline business, so haven't put the full time requried in, have just received my new Mac, so onwards and upwards.
Will keep you posted.
All the best
Peter

You're very welcome, Peter, and I will!

This makes a lot of sense for people who have become disillusioned or burned out by trying to build a network marketing business the 'old-school' way.
Building your own brand online with links on your website to your corporate replicated site allows you transition the hunter to the hunted in time - attracting people rather than chasing them.
Are you using Wealthy Affiliate as a means to build a Network Marketing business yourself, Peter? If so, what sort of results are you getting?
Cheers

Rich, I am building 2 websites (1 a landing page) via WA regarding a company I’m involved with. I’ve never been keen on the old fashioned methods and now in lockdown, we obviously don’t have a choice. I find using social media works well for both recruitment and product (I’m also selling on eBay). I will keep you posted on results once everything is in place. Many thanks Peter

I'm looking forward to following you progress, Peter.
I forgot to mention before that the top Distributor in a company I was previously involved with built his business entirely by blogging. No 'warm market' calls, no '3 foot ruling', stuffing thousands of leaflets through letter boxes or even spending money on PPC.
Just goes to show what can be done and I think in years to come it will be the rule rather than the exception.
I always used to chuckle to myself when I heard the 'Leaders' saying things like "Don't bother with this Social Media rubbish, ,it doesn't work. Just follow the 'proven system'!"
Guess in years to come they'll be in a glass case in some museum along with the other dinosaurs!
Cheers
Rich :-)
