I am just getting rolling here with my website and so far I am just registered to amazon for an affiliate program. Although this is great, I would love to get involved with more programs as it just adds variety and options to put in the website.

I have a website which deals with running, and improving one's run. I would love to hear if anyone has any suggestions on the affiliate programs that I could join for this other than Amazon. I tried searching in Google, but I couldn't find anyone that was very suitable. Thanks y'all for the help! :)

Hi Parmi,

I suggest that you also check out other sites in your niche to see what they are promoting. You’ll get a good idea after that.

Hi Jack! thanks for the feedback! Yes, that's a good idea. Do you happen to know any niches to mine, i.e. running? I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask :)

Hi Parmi,

If I just tell you which sites are there, you'll probably not know how to find them later on for content inspiration, so I'll show you how I find them in just minutes.

First, I typed in a keyword "How to improve your run" - I am sure this is a keyword that is highly competitive.

Then, you'll see a lot of huge competitors like big magazine firms (runner's world, menshealth, etc) and all, but that's not what we are looking for. Affiliate sites like yours will not rank for these "super competitive keywords".

Scroll to page 2 or 3 and you will find at least 1 or 2 affiliate sites. I've found 2:

1. http://strengthrunning.com
2. http://www.treadmillreviews.net

Then, to shorten your time for search, go to "similarweb.com" and input the sites above. Scroll down to the "competitors and Similar sites" section, and you will find all of your affiliate sites there.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
Jack

Hi Parmi, I would suggest to use google and Bing and type: running+ affiliate programs.
That might help, otherwise I really dont know WHO or WHAT does running stuff, other than Amazon and Ebay!
