M.A.J - Using comment questions as blog ideas
Hey Guys, I had a bit of a light bulb moment whilst talking with some friends last night that I thought I would share. To be honest I am not sure if I should be sprouting a great internal discovery or slapping myself on the forehead in a "deeerrrrrr" moment. Anyway, I digress...
You see our friends were visiting us to run some classes in our Pilates studios and we were talking about all things entrepreneurial, hustling and patting ourselves on the back for not having to go back to the government software development hell-hole that we all used to work together in. I was showing them and telling them all about WA. How awesome it is *sip red wine*, how helpful it is *sip red wine*, how I have built a website in 4 months that is starting to rank,*sip red wine*, the training you get *sip red wine*, on and on....
Writer's block
Then I was telling them about how I had struggled a bit over the Christmas/New Year break with content. My wife and I sort of took December off from our studios and were just doing the bare minimum to keep the doors open, classes running and our members happy but nothing more.
Unfortunately this also sullied my website as my mind went on holiday and I could not clearly think about what I wanted to talk about in my blogs. I had lists that I had with all of the topics I could cover and even had three half written in Website content in WA. But they meant nothing and were not going anywhere...
The I talked about Comments.
As I took another sip of wine - and probably my first breath in about 10 minutes - I explained how we use Comments in WA as a means of boosting our rankings in Google... I was saying that I stopped clicking the 'ask questions' option as I didn’t have time to answer them all of the time... Then it hit me!
The questions that I get asked from you awesome people who give comments on my sites actually trigger ideas for more blogs.
DEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!
I opened my laptop and went through the comments of old posts where I had asked for questions. The blog bank is full and I am back on track.
So. My advice? If you are asking for comments, always ask for questions... you never know where they may take you...
Anyway can't talk... Blogs to write
Paul

Here is the label if you can get it in NZ. It is a really nice drop and not too expensive...
Hi paul,
And thanks for the grate idea, am an abstract kind a person so am now wondering if this same idea could be applied to other areas of the internet erm Google.com - messaged boards the list could go on i think you get the idea - no sips of wine usually makes me go off on a tangent.
Cheers Hanso
Absolutely! And sometimes the responses can be linked to other pages of your website too, *sip red wine*, boosting google rankings *sip red wine*.
:)
Great advice and one I might just steal for myself. I often ask for questions or even opinions but never thought to make posts from them. Well done .. Are ya sharing the wine :)
Great to hear Paul - A light bulb moment.
I like the *sip red wine* & your humour.
I just have to sort out my problem on my website, move forward & ask for comments.
Cheers
