Wealthy Affiliate December Goals Update

I stated in my earlier blog post https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/paulrevans57/blog/wa-goals-f... that I will be writing 250 words a day in trialling a writing app, and at the end of this, I will write a 3,000-word review.
Today, I completed my free trial which ended with me finishing my 3,000 free words within two weeks. My experience will form the basis of my review article which I will be starting right away.
First Impressions
I found writing 250 words every day easier than I thought. I also felt it would be a great exercise and create discipline, as well as habit-forming. It was all of these. I am now using the Site Content editor and I immediately, discover the benefits of using an editor that does not permit editing during the "brain-dump" stage.
Now that I am back to using a conventional editor the desire to correct my mistakes as I go is immediately evident. It is something that I have to be consciously aware of and resist the urge to stop and edit before I have completed the task of getting everything I have to say onto paper, or in this case the editor before I lose track of what I was going to say.
Once I have come to a natural stop, then I can take a breather and go over the paragraph or section that I have now completed.
Goals Scored
I am 50% of my way to my December goals of 10,000 words in 10 articles, with over 5000 words completed with five blogs remaining. I am feeling more comfortable with my writing. I am always on the lookout of ways to improve my work, and I couldn't do it without proper grammar checking.
The grammar checking benefits are two-fold, one obviously, is to correct my bad grammar and spelling mistakes, and secondly but less obvious is that with use and with the reports on my progress, my repeated errors are brought to my attention. My most glaring errors are the misuse of commas. I either put them where they shouldn't be, or I don't put them where they ought to be!
It is like having your own private tutor. My use of these grammar checkers will be the subject of another article. I use two regularly, and I have been recommended a third which I will be trialling soon.
