Learn Something New EveryDay
Don't you just love June? I do! I switched over from my iMac Safari to Chrome browser to use one of the Chrome tools that I am familiar with, to inspect my website.
After a few moments I noticed that my PA (Page Authority) and DA (Domain Authority) have changed. My site now has a DA of 4 and my home page has a PA of 5. Boom!
This took around six months as a new website languishing with a PA/DA of 1.
June is starting to look quite sunny!
To put this into perspective. I have a long way to go to match Nathaniell's coffee loving website. But, I'm off the starting blocks!
Learning is Progressive
Some things are frustratingly slow to learn. Others things I am doing well. Take Canva for example. When I started, I hadn't a clue what I was doing. I've said before, I am not a designer.
Last week it all started to come together, thanks in main to all the blogs and training other Wealthy Affiliate members have posted. I now get it! You may have noticed that all my WA Blog banners are sized correctly and I have put some meaning into them.
All my recent blogs now have Canva banners. I am happy using Canva.
Take this banner as an example, the bottom layer is obviously a screen print from my site. The next layer I wanted an explosion! The free Canva doesn't have one with the background transparent, except in premium.
So, I went over to Pixabay website (one of those websites used in SiteContent) and found a free explosion with a transparent background.
Next up, was the top layer which is directly from Canva using the Text 'Add a Heading' function. Resize and rotate things to how I want it to appear, and download.
Conclusion
Learning comes at its own pace, and we all pace differently. I will get to where I want to be, it just might take me a little longer than some.
With each little success, I feel that I am moving forward nearer to my goals.

Ability to learn and to learn something new every day is the secret of growth and success.
Cheers.
I feel very much the same way. I am a new member, and I know that this process will be somewhat lengthy and will require much learning and effort. If your mind is open and you are looking to learn, every day contains an abundance of learning opportunities in many different ways. Congratulations on your progress.

PaulREvans57,
I must applaud you for the success. As you rightly noted, learning is personal.
To me a newbie here, all these things about PA1/DA1 and PA4/DA4 are like languages from another planet. I know I will get there someday.
You may not be where you wish to be yet, but brother, please celebrate yourself. You are not doing badly.
One little step after the other will move closer.
I wish you all the best.

I wasn't impressed when I first tried it, but when I realised what I could do with just the free version, I use it all the time now!
Hi Paul,
From the image that you created, you seem to be doing well on the Canva platform. Great job on your image! Keep on keepin' on!
Much success to you!
Kind regards,
Nichola
Hi Paul.
I don't even know what Chrome tool you are referring to. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that one day I will. ๐ Great stuff, thanks for sharing.
This page is bookmarked now. Lolz
Have loads of fun.
Regards,
Your banner is great. I love Canva, I actually have only just started using it, but have worked a lot previously on PicMonkey and they are very similar. I have used Canva to make clickable banners for my website, so proud of myself. As you say we all learn at our own rate.
Great blog, thanks, and have an awesome day.
Denise.
