Keep Climbing That Mountain
The mountain is still there and I'm still climbing. Some of these SEO Audits are helpful, some just lie! It has opened my eyes as to why people supply these tools. It would seem just to get more traffic and rankings for themselves.
On a positive note, these tools have given me a better understanding of what I should be looking for. I found another 404 today, so these SEO Audit tools are not a complete wast of time. One of my images I had deleted from my WordPress Image Library, was still being linked to from one of my early posts. Oops! I put that right in double-quick time!
I'm a bit short for time this week, as I'm taking on a side hustle. My wife's friend, who works for a foreign national corporation, asked if I'd mind proof-reading her company's Annual Report. It doesn't pay much in UK pounds but it's a fair sum in the local currency.
Proof-reading is surprisingly easy, when it's someone else's work! It's proof-reading my own work, where I'm not so hot!
The progress with my website continues. I purchased the premium version of GeneratePress. I still fear making a mess of my primary website, so I installed in onto another site of mine. It is very old and I haven't posted to it for a long time.
The installation was easy. But, following my initial attempt at adjusting the layout, I decided to stop being a man, and read the instructions. Ah! That worked!
I am very impressed with the theme I chose, it is very clean, lightweight and I like it. A big plus is that it is blindingly fast! It may well be that the posts are all very short. Even so, I think this is going to work on my primary site very well. Something for the weekend!
I think I'm going to like GeneratePress Elementor, and Gutenburg Editor, finally.

The Tele-Prompter I ordered from Amazon at the weekend has just landed on my desk. I know what I’ll be doing this weekend!

Good stuff Paul. I've got a target amount of posts to write over the coming week as I hope to pop over and see my family the week after that.
Once I'm back I want to take a few days and audit my sites so I'll be picking your brains.
I use Generatepress, and love it. So many options for customizations and I don't have virtually any additional CSS like I had to use with other free themes.
Good luck on that side gig. I know what you mean about proofreading your own copy. Thank the lord for Grammarly!
