Even The Best Laid Plans Get Unstuck
I had everything planned for this weekend. Unfortunately, I underestimated my abilities!
My side-hustle is taking way longer than I anticipated. It is about 50% complete, and it will probably take the rest of the day unless other tasks steal my time. In which case, it will be a late night!
Yesterday, I took my wife into town to help with the shopping. Now that the TT Racing is over, it's been two weeks since we ventured into Douglas town. I was happy to accept the situation and I did get to spend an hour or so online late last night.
My Teleprompter is under my desk, still unboxed. I don't think I will get a chance to look at it this weekend.
The one task I did want to complete was to install GeneratePress Elemental on my main website. After I trialed it on a lesser site, I am happy that it does everything I want it to do.
First and foremost, I will have to complete my proofreading, as I have promised delivery for Monday morning. I hate missing a deadline!
If you see my site Down for Maintenance tonight or sporting a new GeneratePress Theme then you will know, I have had a successful weekend, albeit, and unplanned one!
I remain optimistic for tomorrow.
Update 9pm UK Time, Sunday 9th June
I have completed my side-hustle. It has been emailed back to my client before the deadline! The weekend wasn't a total washout. Sunday was a bright sunny day, and I spent some quality time with my wife.I do think that 9 pm on a Sunday is not the right time to be bringing my website down and installing a new Theme and hopefully getting into a state that I am happy with going forward.
My plan of action now is to document the steps I will take to install GeneratePress and Elementor. Which of the Elementor Themes I will activate and which plugins to retain, and which ones I will remove. Perhaps then, I will have a fair chance of getting it all into place without getting too stressed.
