I recently added a Wealthy Affiliate Banner to my sidebar yet it was too big and the right side was truncated. After resolving my problem and keeping the proper affiliate code so I would still get credit for the referral I wondered how many other people experienced this but didn't know the solution to this.
This is just a Summary:

Problem:

Affiliate Banner too big and Truncated.

Solution:
Therefore, here are the steps to resolve the problem:

1. Get the original Banner/Image to be able to change to the appropriate size.
2. Copy and Paste into "Paint" or your preferred program.
3. Crop and re-size Image to 250 Pixels Wide. The default size is 260 pixels wide but I have found that 250 looks best.
4. Save Image.
5. Upload the re-sized image to your WordPress Media Library.
6. Go to sidebar in "widgets" area and replace/paste the image source location HTML code.

NOTE: Be Careful Not to Edit the HTML "href" as this is our affiliate code and needs to stay in place!
