A little about how we came to Wealthy Affiliate (WA) and discovered why WA is the foundation to the best ways make money online! I was with WA Over 1+ years ago learning Online Marketing and 'Tinkering' in an experimental and very part time way. I purchased a $10 domain and built a website to just see what online marketing was all about. I found I enjoyed it but because of the combination of me being so busy at the time, being skeptical of the number of scams out there, I eventually lost interest and therefore eventually just allowed my domain/website to expire and concentrated on my position in Corporate America aka "The Rat Race".
After being so skeptical of the programs online and there associated costs I soon realized how much I needed to check out WA once again. I started comparing WA to these other online programs and realized how good I previously had it at WA. The day soon came when I knew I had to repurchase my expired domain/website and get started again, as well, at the same time I received an email from Kyle with a promotional offer to regain my business and rejoin them and therefore now with this new "light", I was encouraged in my mind to act immediately.
Shocked - Rejoined WA
I attempted to repurchase my expired domain/website back again and found that they wanted over $2000 for this now Premium Domain that I previously bought for $10 when I was with WA the first time. I was SO Shocked that I knew I had to be onto something good when I was first with WA and online marketing but I guess because of my inexperience I hadn't really noticed the potential or how well I was actually doing. I immediately joined WA with Kyle and Carson again!
How to Leave Money on the Table - Don't Do This!
My wife and I are now very serious and excited to be here at WA to learn and grow our Online Business! We see that if one is not committed and dedicated there is potentially a lot of money that one can "leave on the table". We are committed to not allow this to happen again! So much, that we now subscribe to the 'yearly' membership as opposed to the monthly to show our "dire" commitment to succeeding online.
We now see the full potential of Online Marketing and given the various income streams of online marketing opportunities available our goal is to be Full Time Online Entrepreneurs. Now that we've given our time to WA Training and the Community, we thoroughly enjoy working from home over the internet and look forward to learning and helping others!

Happy holidays to you too! It's definitely a reminder as I often wonder how much money we left on the table then I turn it around and think about how much we can make in the future. :)
I had the same thing happen to me. I purchased BoatTech.com two years ago for $12, today they want $3,888.00 for it. Lesson learned.
Yes, lesson learned here too Rob. It wasn't until rejoining WA and seeing Jay's Wabinar that I realized that 'flipping' websites was an income stream.
I don't dwell on how much was left on the table being away for over a year but just the potential to be made in the future. I'm looking at this as a learning lesson too and using it to my advantage. :)
