A Kid in a Candy Store
Some days after the second cup of coffee I realize I am acting like a kid in a candy store. I see someone’s post and I want to go see. Then I see a new video by Jay and I have to go there. Then there is someone having a problem in chat so I go there even though I can’t answer many of them, I go to learn.
So much stuff to do and wander around in this great big warehouse store full of cool people and the inventory of amazing content for us to learn, that I'm just carried away most days.
I just had to post this because of all the training and progress I’ve made in a couple of months and it hit me this morning. I can't wait to get back to the computer and see what's going on at WA every morning. The first week I was here I took it very slowly.
I just did one hour or so of training so I didn’t get bored with it. I usually do burn out on new passions fairly quickly. Except writing. The biggest reason I burn out is that those other places didn’t have the high quality content that actually provides something of value.
It’s like reading a story that you don’t want to put down versus a text book. Maybe that’s a little extreme but you get my meaning.
Onward and upward- she said. My favorite recurring character in my stories loves to say this to everyone she meets.

It really is like a kid in a candy store there is so much to learn and so many people to talk to or leave comments. Sometimes I am so lost in learning I forget that I have a post to write, I really need to learn to stay focused and sometimes let the candy set on the shelf.
I agree, i made out this 15 item list of things to do every day so I can get more accomplished but i never get past #7.
I can really relate to that, Paul. There are so many exciting things on offer here that sometimes it's hard to stick to just one task as you want to do or have a look at everything at once. Too much candy to choose from...
I know, but it is such an awesome feeling coming from the wastelands of scammy internet marketers out there.
Sometimes the candy completely takes my time and I have to be the bad parent and tell myself to work.
The community here is execellant and the training so interesting.
So, Onward we go.

Yes, I'm right there with you. it's hard to break away and do the work at times. Which is a big switch for me because i love to write.
Hi Paul
I know exactly how you feel when it comes to Wealthy Affiliate. I joined five years ago and I still love to connect with members and learn how they are getting on.
It is a great learning platform and I shall be here for the foreseeable future.
