Your "About Me " page and CREDIBILITY
Hi Guys and gals
I guess this is aimed at the newer members to try and steer them the right way
You "about me" page is maybe in most cases the first thing that viewer will look at because the viewer wants to see how CREDIBLE the website owner is.
I have visited some sites and sorry to say the about me page SUCKS! yes it really does. The picture in some cases does not even show the owner but shows a restaurant, a hill, some leaves, a family, a dog and many other things BUT not YOU!
Now some pics that are shown are SOOOOO bad and I mean with the owner covered up of with very poor lighting or with an expression of terror so how can this [promote CREDIBILITY?
What does it do - it makes a MONKEY out of you - OK I know this is not a Monkey but you get my drift!
FIRST impressions count and let your about me page be about YOU and give some good solid basic info about you - OK

As in life, first impressions count. They may not always be correct, but it takes time to find that out. We don't have that time. This is a topic (like grammar) that needs to be revisited often. You're so right. Don't put anything other than your pix up. We want to see YOU. This is a good reminder for even our profiles here.
