SumoMe and Social
Hi WA hope that you are all sitting down for this!
I would like to show you how to use the share function on SumoMe as it is easy
But first I will show you the GA page from last night which shows the basic info on what has happened and who is looking etc
This next pic is showing the actual share function and who was sharing and how many shares and the different colors indicate who is doing the sharing (red is Pinterest)
This a close up for you to see how the colors tell you who is sharing and for me Pinterest is the best at 9 and next is StumbleUpon at 6
The next pic shows where to add the social groups and as you can see you can choose from the list on the left and just drag the one you want over to the list on the right
Very easy and the list on the left has 60 options of which I am using 11 - shown on the right. If you look at the setting bar in black on the left (Below the pink Share logo) you will see you have a large selection of all options to adjust in the share function.
First page
This is showing the 11 share buttons that I use on the bottom of my front page and you can make the buttons the color and size that you want.
Well I hope that you have got some good information as it has taken me a couple of months to get it sorted but then again it was all good fun!

hey paul, just a thought, i went to your site and find it hard to read the text on the home page, would a white background maybe help with people staying on your site... just a thought.. Bea
Hi Bea and you are the first person to say that I have had many site feedbacks and they all say it is cool
Hi Paul, well, it takes that one who is honest enough to say.. I'm just talking about my past experience and what I have been taught in the past 10 years of online marketing. I scrolled down to the bottom to find those videos at the bottom of the page I guess google trends maybe... not relevant.. like I said its my personal opinion. like they say TEST TEST TEST, test and see what the results are with and without... :0) Bea
PS would be interested to see the results
Hi Bea
I have actually done this testing four different ways and I used to get 20 views a day then changed and 45 views a day then changed 75 views and now 95 views a day so it is working the best ever as it is now but am always open to suggestions
Thank you for your words and you have got me thinking about a revamp but then why fix it if it ain't broke?
Your right, why to try to reinvent the wheel so they say... when I do a website, I take everyone into consideration, including the impaired, anyway.. keep me posted on the stats... Bea
hi paul. thanks for the info.
i have started using SumoMe. when i use it, the SumoMe logo appears on the right of my webpage. if you click onto it all the other related buttons come underneath. you are then able to going into the options and make changes.
question is: i am logged out of wordpress and WA. i go onto my website and..............voila! there it is. the log on the right where i can click and go into my options. should that not be available only to the user and when logged on? why is it viewable by customers?
do you know what is going on? this has prompted me inot deactivating it as i don not want anybody to see the options for change, if you know what i mean?
thank you.
hi paul. in that case can you do me a favour please if its not too much of a bother? can you possibly go onto my website and see if a blue pop up bar on the top right appears. if it does, can you please see if hovering over it causes it to pop out. if it does, then clicking onto the pop-out SumoMe icon should then lead to the My SumoMe app page to pop out.
its happening here to me. i am hoping it does not happen when you try. my website is below.
much appreciated. thank you.

Ok have had a look and first thing on mobile your share boxes are far to big also you have more share boxes appear at the top so remove the top ones
Also your pop should appear when a person is about to leave the site at the beginning is not good ok
Now nothing appears with the sumo and as I said only you can see it
I have left a nice comments on your site so please do same for me on my site ok http://Perkune.com
Hi. I don't have Sumo installed so I had a look.
The only Sumo icon I see is at the bottom of the vertical line of social icons - it opens other options to share.
If you want to know, your email icon doesn't appear to be working.
Clicking on it does nothing - and bottom right of the screen I see "[removed]void(o)"
Cheers.
Very appealing site.
thank you. i will look at your site in a minute. should the sumo appear even though i have logged out of everything?
thank you
aha. its ok now. thank you. ignore my previous comments. i will still look at and leave a comment at your site though. thanks.
Thank you - it's earn4keeps.com
I don't know if Sumo should continue to show - I haven't installed it as the plugin says it's untested with my version of w/press.
And Sumome said to wait a few days for the compatibility to be done as that's done by users from the w/press side (or something to that effect.)
Hi again
Just been to your site and no sumo but I see the comment that I left has gone - Why?
I dunno. I don't see it pending approval either.
I inactivated the SI CAPTCHA Anti-spam on someone's recommendation as not needed - do you think I should reactivate?
Hi again
Just been to your site and no sumo but I see the comment that I left has gone - Why?
I don't have Sumo installed (plugin says untested etc) I have AccessPress installed....
I don't know why your comment isn't there... it isn't waiting for approval either. I'll log it with Support and see what they say....
Thanks
Still Kicking, Pau[, but I have a lot of family and church stuff going on.
I really need to add content to my websites so I will continue to be busy in the foreseeable future.
Your post has certainly enlightened me on some aspects of SumoMe that I have not made use of....thank you!
