We went to see my wife's friend today at her home in Vllnius and it was a bit of a shock for me.
I have never seen any body change so much in such a short space of time!
My wife was also shocked and was so angry at the incompetence of the hospital
It turns out that after all the cancer bronchitis scares etc etc she has blood cancer and they will not even ley=t her se the test results.
They are still giving the treatment and one arm has opened up with the medicines and is all pussy and black and she can hardly move.
This is just a disgusting situation to be in and we are just so upset with what we saw
How can this be what are these idiot doctors doing taking a healthy woman who git stressed but diagnosing her wrong doing things wrong to her and after a few months making her fear for her life!!!
Will see make it till Christmas well that is any one guess but see was so happy to see us and we gave her renewed hope and energy and she had a color back in her face when we left
WE woo travel to Vilnius tomorrow to see her again but my words to you are PLEASE do not believe everything a doctor tells you!!

yip, the docs nearly killed me too - I'm sort of back from the dead! And right now I'm listening to a lecture on Medical Error is the 3rd leading cause of death...
I had to do what is considered a 'quack' cancer therapy to buy time early on, it was Gerson Therapy and I know it would only buy time with blood cancer as that is one of the cancers they don't fully cover but some people still do well on it, if you check out the book by Michael Gearin Tosh called a Medical Mutiny, he survived 11 years still teaching at Oxford when given a couple of years to live.
There are some other people doing things in functional medicine eg a doctor called Lise Alschuler and Tina Kaczor lecture on cancer, they have websites...
There was an event streamlined at the w/e on alternatives, one was a place in Mexico called hope4cancer - I can't really speak for them, but in your friend's case I'd start looking around as you just described how her docs are causing the problems and may cost her her life.
Now remember what you said about stress - do you have a way to de-stress.
They don't have to obey the docs or give in to the situation - they are likely in shock.
That's terrible, this should not be allowed to happen at all.

When my sister was diagnosed with cancer they told her she would die in 3 months and instead of trying to help her wanted to put her in a test program. Sounds like that's what they have done to your friend. Not letting her see the results of her own tests is WRONG and TERRIFYING. No telling what they are doing to her. Prayers, prayers, prayers!

Oh god...I've heard of doctors being incompetent but nothing like that! and not letting her see the test results? I've never heard of anything like that. Well I hope all gets better!

Oh my gosh. I was appalled, taking care of my parents. If I had listened to the doctors and gave all the medications they prescribed, my parents would have been dead years before they were. Does she have anyone to be a liason for her?
