My organic Month!

Just thought I would share the with you as it s something that is very interesting to see
You have heard the term Organic and maybe you are wondering what Organic actually is
As you can see last month I have 1540 people visit my website and of this 301 were what are termed "Organic" searches.
Organic means a person who is searching the web for a specific item and so has typed into Google his request - "Best value red wellington boots" as he wants to find a pair of red wellington boots at the best price he can find. He may have also typed in "Best priced red wellington boots" or "Cheap red wellington boots"
Now if you have a website and you sell wellington boots you will have pages of information on the boots that you sell. You will have product Information, colours, prices, offers, etc. You will have "keywords" in your text that will say things like "Red wellington boots at the very best prices are available at Paul's boot shop" so when the person is searching he will find your keywords and will then will become an organic visitor!
When you first start your website you will not get many organic visitors and this is because you will not have much experience in Keywords and what they do. Also you will not have many blogs on your site and it is blogs that attract people.
As you get more experience your organic visitors will grow and I think these are the best type of visitors because they are really looking for something that you may have!

For me the best organic so far so just have to blog more with better long tailed keywords!

Thanks for the reminder Paul. Clearly explained for some of the newbies that are always coming to WA.
I can share a little story about my son. He has an online business and works from home. In the beginning he was targeting specific keyword and has 1000's of words now in his content.
He now only writes about related subjects on his site and does not worry about keywords. He just writes engaging content that people want to read and he gets 1000's of organic visits a month.
Bare in mind, this didn't happened overnight. It takes time and effort. But in the end all the hard work pays off. Two years ago at age 28 he left his full time job and is in control of his own life now.
