Instagram understanding
Hi, Guys and Gals
Well I am now understanding a bit more about Instagram and I will explain
For me Instagram is a very quick way of getting info to people but it only last a short time see below -
I posted this pic and as you can see got 177 likes in the first minute OKThen I checked it one hour later and saw it had made 305 likes
I just checked after 21 hours and it has made 316 likes
So I am seeing the same trend with Instagram.
The you post it goes crazy for the first hour and then slows right down during the day and then it seems to take along time with just one or two likes as the days go by and after about two weeks that is all you seem to get and it stops
I have checked every post and it is the same result.
I think that Instagram really works great but to get success I think you would have to post every day to get the numbers.
As you can see Instagram sent 74 people to my website over the past thirty days and this at least is something positive. What to do post every day?????
Mmmmmmmm

That's a terrific number of directs to your website! Working on also leveraging Pinterest. Thanks for the info, Paul.
I Post 5 times a week on our Instagram (should be everyday but that is too much at this stage) .. we alternate between lifestyle, sayings and exercise. The lifestyle is to do with something Hesti does each day, eg a new experience or someone she is meeting with. The exercise Posts are from our classes and feature different people, different instructors and different locations. All Post focus on our Brand. Cheers, William.
Content is similar .. have never Posted the same pic twice .. it is a major effort coming up with new content all the time .. all pics are taken by us.
Hi Paul,
I find Twitter to be more responsive than Instagram (at least for me). I've been finding overtime that the people on Instagram are more likely to follow just to un-follow and this seems to be on the rise and is quite annoying. However, I find that this has not been the case with Twitter and that social response and conversations are much more likely to happen on Twitter.
I don't know if that's just the genre I'm in or if anyone else finds this to be true. I sort of think Instagram is a bit of a let down when it comes to having a "relationship" for lack of a better word, with followers.
Does anyone else find this to be true?
Ashley
LOL! Seems like social media is all about the genre! BTW- I've sent you a message on LinkedIn so we can connect there, as well :)
Have a wonderful first day of summer!
I would post when you are inspired as you are doing well with the other sites. Thank you for the instagram info
