Another comment
Hi guys and Gals
I know there has been a big discussion with regards to comments lately but I want to stress just how important they are and I will give you a great example -
Comments are to help us and we MUST understand this.
I thought that I had got my website looking great BUT I just had a comment that really made me think.
The comment was about one word and had never been mentioned before only right at the very beginning and I chose to ignore it a year ago but now after learning and listening to so many comments I realised that what this person was saying really did make sense.
I changed the word!!!!
I also had another look at the about me page and thought that it really did not say much about me and what had led me to doing what I am doing now so I added a paragraph which I have also added to my profile.
I want to say PLEASE read and react to comments because that is the way forward!

Thanks for sharing, Paul! Your post reminds me of a very negative comment I received years ago. The comment basically said reading my article was a waste of time and 5 minutes that he would never get back. Then I realized it was a waste of his time to read the article. He was not in my target audience!

Paul you hit the nail right on the head. I do not think people who are trying to help you would leave nasty comments. It could be that they also need to know how to say what they are trying to say in another way. Having grown up with criticism/comments all my life as an athlete I tend to listen to what is being said and see if I can improve what I am doing. If it can it is implemented right away. If I believe, or do not understand what is being in parted, then I park it for a while until I have time to think about it. I never throughout a comment, you never know it could be the one that makes you soar.
I hadn't heard that there was a debate going on regarding comments. Why wouldn't we want feedback? I'm grateful for any and all cinema I receive.
