Hello WA Family,

I trust you are well.

When I logged into my account today, this is what WA greeted me with today.

So I thought I would write a blog on some things that I have learned since becoming a member of wealthy affiliate.

Wow... Where do I start?

When I first signed up for wealthy affiliate two years ago:

I did not know what keyword research was.

I knew little about SEO, as a matter of fact I didn't even know what SEO stood for.

I had no clue on how to optimize a blog post or website.

If you were to ask me about google analytics and how to work it, I would have I have no clue.

If you were to mention affiliate marketing to me, I would have said SCAM...(I did not know what affiliate marketing was all about, as I had only seen people using the affiliate marketing pitch to rip other people off)

I did not know the value of an email list or how to use it to interact with customers.

I did not know how to use google search console to find amazing keyword and to structure quality content. (I didn't even know what content was.)

Did not know the value of setting up Google My Business, which has been a tremendous asset to connecting with families and bringing growth to our church. As many of you know, I am a pastor and our church focuses on meeting the needs of the inner cities and those that drug addiction and gangsterism has affected.

Here is an entire blog I wrote when I was here at wealthy affiliate for 1 year and the how having a google my business account has helped our church to reach families and see people get restored.

What are some things I have learned in the two years of being at Wealthy Affiliate:

• I can now do proper keyword research
• I have a few websites that are ranking on page one of google
• I can use google search console to find amazing keywords
• I can install google analytics on websites and read the data
• I can optimize a blog or a website for search engines
• I can help you get more traffic to your website
• I have put together several courses on how to do SEO
• I can use social media to bring to get traffic to a website
• I can optimize videos for ranking on YouTube
• I know the 12 basic steps of optimizing a blog
• I can build an email list
• and so much more...

I have learned all this by deciding to invest in and join wealthy affiliate.

Big shout out to Jay for all the late night live webinar trainings. The webinar actually airs at 2:00am or 3:00am my time depending on the daylight savings time.

Big shout out to kyle for all the step-by-step tutorials and the online trainings that are easy to understand and help us take our skills to another level

Big shout out to Carson and the support team. The support at Wealthy Affiliate is in a class of its own. To put it simple, They Rock!!! (I like to tell them that in my messages haha) They have answered many questions and have helped me countless times to get solutions for challenges.

Last but not least, the WA Family that is always willing to help and answer questions anytime of the day.
