A 2,000 Word Article - Come On Really?
A 2,000 word article - Come On Really?
Well I must say that it is possible and I just did it using the training that Kyle teaches in level 5 lesson 6 entilted "Writing with a devised plan architecture."
Hello WA Family,
I just wanted to stop by and give a progress report and a shout out to Kyle for the amazing trainnigs.
I must say before taking this training I would try and write my blogs directly in the wordpress editor and do all the editing on the fly. The would come out decent after a lot of work and research.
After going through this training - Writing With A Devised Plan Architecture - I tried the fomula that Kyle menions and it definitely took my blog writing to antother level. Not only did I write a blog of over 2,000 words but the research was on anothe level and the content in my blog is rich and user friendly.
Here are a few things that I learned and did differently after going through this tutorial.
1. Before this tutorial I would try and do my research as I was writing the blog in the wordpress editor, but this time I did the research before writing the blog and as I got the information I jotted it down in Microsoft Word.
2. Before this tutorial I would just write and not have an outline, this time I followed the format of:
- Introduction
- Point 1
- Point 2
- Point 3
- Conclusion
Before you know it I had 7 tips and close to 2,000 words. By the time I finished my blog and posted it to my site, it was well over 2,000 words.
Honestly I am not sure if I have ever written an article of over 2,000 words.
Yes, I do have articles on my site of over 2,000 words, but I outsourced them. So not only did I save money, but I also learned how to do it myself using this strategy of " Writing With A Devised Plan Architecture."
3. Before I would add images on the fly while writing my content and this would through of my creativity in writing, this time I added the images with alt tags after the article was written and while it was in the WordPress editor. This made a huge difference in my productivity.
4. Before I would try and edit my article as I was writing is in the WordPress editor and clean everything up while I was writing it, this time I just wrote and didn't really focus on grammar, editing or punctuation. Once I had the article written I then went back and tweaked the minor things.
This helped to keep me in the flow and my creativity was on hit.
Once again a shout out to Wealthy Affiliates for great content and trainings that take your skills to another level.

Man, you were really thumping on some keys. Thank you for the information. It will help me in writing my blog.
Peace💗
I don't like to use MS Word because it adds all sorts of weird formatting I have to get rid of, but I use a plain text editor sometimes.
Considering the antiquity of my version of Word, maybe they fixed the problems! But it's easy to check. After pasting an article into Wordpress, click on the TEXT tab and if Word formatted the article, you will see the html.

Hi Pastor.
Just to add a technique I use which you may find useful.
1. Start your article in WordPress. Add a title, and at least one paragraph.
2. Publish the article, but make it 'Private' so that it doesn't mess up your website by becoming visible to users.
3. Use https://www.marketmuse.com to inspect your article. It will give you a report on what your competitors are doing with the subject, as well as offer you suggestions for word length, questions to ask, and web pages to link to .
4. Use the suggested subjects as sub-headings and the web pages for research (I'm not suggesting copyright violations!).
5. Painstakingly fix the SEO problems noted by your SEO validator.
6. Copy and paste to-and-fro your grammar checking tool. I use ProWritingAid but a lot of people use Grammarly. ProWritingAid has a plugin also, which I am about to start using, but I can't say how effective it it is yet.
You can pull images still from WA Content Creation by opening a dummy article, inserting WA's images into it and then pulling those images directly into your website's WordPress's Media library. I also have a PDF list of free image sites which is available from my website—PM me for a link to it.
Anyway, I hope that this helps, have a great one.
Regards,
