How to Add a Google Map to Your Contact Page.

I want to add more information on my "contact me" page. I ran across this Video that explains how this is done. I hope that this will be of help to members that are interested in knowing how this is done..

STEP ONE:

Select Google Maps on Your Computer.

You Will Get This View.

STEP TWO:

Type The Name of Your City and State and You Should See the Map of Your Area.

Click on "Satellite" in this box.

STEP THREE: Click on the Gear, this will take you to a screen that ask if you want to share or embed Google Map. Click on "share or embed".

At the top of the next view, you will see a code. Copy this code and go back to your post or page and select "text" mode. Paste the code where you want the map to appear.When you go back to "Visual", you will only see a greyed out area. Click update and preview, you should now be able to see the map.

When you paste this code while in text mode, you will see the following "code script":

This is the "code script" you will see after you paste the code above.

STEP EIGHT:

Update after you pasted the above code and go back to "visual mode", you'll not see this script in visual mode (same as the jaaxy plugin), you will see the map after you preview or publish your post or page. To see how this will look go to one of my sites: learnbywa.com/contact me.

Can this be use by newer members.
