I have noticed that many seems to be stuck on the topic of choosing a (free) picture for your website. I have searched and found a great site where you can select from 10 source

I found a Site http://all-free-download.com/ that seems to have a large selection of images that are free. Check it out

Trust what Rich told you. Don't risk it.

Well some of those on the list are paid images so those who are more comfortable with that, are of course free to pay whatever the site asks. Others - like me - are looking for free ones at this stage since I don;t know if I ever is going to need anywhere close to 150 pictures. But thanks for the caution Rich.

It's always entirely a Members choice, I just prefer to point out that "free" isn't "risk free" so that they can make an informed decision. For example stock.xchang is included in that list but buried in Section 7.2 (!) of their terms and conditions and flagged and labelled "important" is... http://www.sxc.hu/help/7_2 It can be devastating for a Member to lose months of hard work if their site tanks due to a DMCA being filed against it or they receive demands for huge payments and threats of court action for copyright violation unless they settle. :) Rich.

I've just glanced at the list, and I'd advise extreme caution with their recommendations, some of their advice is wrong and all the sites accept submissions without verifying that the uploader is the copyright holder. Unfortunately, most free sites bury in their terms and conditions that using their photos is entirely at your own risk and sadly several Members have received substantial bills or had DMCAs filed against their sites from using some of their recommendations. I'd recommend following Kyle's training on this https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-find-add-images-to-your-website or use a legitimate stock library, I believe the BigStock offer https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/rich/blog/ok-this-is-disgusting-just-ugh is still open and if you cancel within 7 days https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/rich/blog/ok-be-a-sheeplewussy-but-don-t-join-the-circus you'll receive an offer to purchase 150 images for c. $50 which works out at c. 30¢ a pop. It's a lot better to be safe than very, very sorry! :) Rich.

Hi there, Thanks for that. It's handy to have a range of sites to search if you are after something particular.

If I may add to your list - not many people know that WA member, LadyOdd, started a free pictures site for WA members to use and to add their own picktures to. Here is the link to her site, http://freeusepictures.siterubix.com/ and here is the link to her blog where she previously discussed it - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ladyodd/blog/need-free-pictures-i-have-a-new-site

When buying domain names, is it recommended to pay the extra for hiding your ownership details ? Thanks for enightening me ;-)

You know, I get enough telemarketer calls now, even with the Do-Not-Call-List. Between business offers, credit card offers, donation requests etc., I have no desire to add another way for people to find out about me and then call me. I got it free for the first year with every intention that $3 per year after that will not be a problem. Just sayin'

Thanks for your comments, and yes Thomas, I've confirmed that namecheap do give 1st years "privacy protection" free. However, having checked around, I have decided that I will not pay for it. Although I see there are as always two sides of the coin. But "hiding" in today's world seems like an illusion because if people can;t find you in "whois" they will somewhere else.. Thanks to both of you for your input.

The short answer to your question is YES!

I agree. Paying for privacy is definitely a good idea.

I definitely recommend signing up for this if you're registering with your personal details and not as a business, otherwise your home information including your telephone number will be publicly available to anyone on the web. http://www.internic.net/whois.html You may even receive phone calls purporting to be from WA as many scammers look at your domain's DNS and pretend to be from the hosting co. Namecheap offer WhosIsGuard (Domain Privacy) free for the first year, and then $3 per annum thereafter. :) Rich.

Thanks for the tip. I am going to check into this.

I usually pay for the privacy to hide my details. I think it's a personal thing. I know people who do and people who don't.

I've heard that namecheap offers free privacy registration with a domain name registration. I've never registered a domain with namecheap, so I don't know how true that is.

Kyle has send out a list of keywords that he retrieved from Jaaxy. WHen I check some of them on Adwords, there is nothing. Other examples are having far less visitors than Jaaxy

Hi, I'm trying to come up with a domain name myself and must say it's a tough decision for me. I want it to be just right and have millions of keywords. I haven't seen the list Kyle sent out and I don't know where to find it.
