We're poised at the start of a new year, and that means 365 clean slates on which we choose what to write. So many people live passively, wishing and hoping for good things to come their way. Don't just make those passive wishes. In the immortal words of Captain Picard, "Make it so!"
Being here at Wealthy Affiliate is a great start. This place is jam packed with tools for success, from helpful tutorials to a vibrant support community. But if you just pay for a membership, make a website with a page or two, and then sit back and wait for the money to roll in...it ain't gonna happen.
You have to "make it so" by working diligently to create your own success. Absorb all the knowledge here and do the work to USE it. Be consistent, add new content to your site, and promote it throughout the year. Put the same amount of effort in everything else you do in life and you'll be amazed at the rewards.
Even if you're not a Trekkie, you can't deny that Jean-Luc Picard's command contains the key to success. Slip that key into the 2014 lock and have a lovely, successful, and prosperous New Year.

Well said! WA gives us the foundation to successfully create an online business but it will be up to our own grit and determination to turn that business into a profitable business if that is our goal. It is mine and I will "make it so".
