That is basically my understanding. Siterubix is a free domain that premium WA members can use, but Google etc. will rank your website sooner if it is your own .com domain. The average domain name is about 13.99 .It must be renewed every year.
Any one who knows more, feel free to correct me.

uh .. kinda ..
"siterubix.com" is a Domain ..
"yourNicheSite.siterubix.com" is a "Sub-Domain"
By getting your own domain (ie: YourNicheSite.com, you have many more resources available - not the least of which is virtually unlimited eMail accounts.
