I Would say you have already signed up for that. The best would be to promote from your website. Follow any of the training and build your website first. You will be shown in the training how to use your affiliate links on your website with your special number assigned to you.
When anyone clicks on your assigned Affiliate link number you will get revenues from that.
The best bet is to do your training.

How can I promote wealthy affiliate?
I see that I can get a commission by promoting wealthy affiliate but how do I sign up for this?
I copied my affiliate link and put it in my post but it doesn't turn blue and it doesn't work from the post. What can I do to get it to work? I tried to put the in here but it tells me I can't use the parameters that would say it was from me. So how do I get credit for referring someone to WA? That may be covered in future lessons but I haven't gotten to them yet so I could use the help. Thanks
That's also depending your theme limitations
I'd also try change my theme, see if I get a different result.
Something else you can do, you may need to empty the browser cache, refresh and try again. Try URL in a different browser or mobile device.
You can also empty servers cache.

You may promote in your About Me post, you can write as many words | paragraphs as you like on your “About Me” post. I would elaborate as much as possible. This is the first contact your visitors have with your site, they want to know the founder, what's the site about, can they establish rapport and above all can they trust the site and is it content worthy and user experience friendly. What would be your USP (unique selling point) - Think of it when you walk in a store, what would you like to see and what would your first impression be. If it doesn't hold to your standards you'd leave, same with your about me page, if the visitor doesn't feel at ease, they will click away.
You can also promote WA on your About Me post if you were to choose your own interest / hobby niche. You may then include a paragraph middle of page or towards end, adding few features about the benefits of joining the WA platform and there you can hyperlink your own unique affiliate link which you can fetch via the $ sign top menu. What is an About Me page? - Examples of About Me Paragraphs I have also seen it as custom banners in relation to your niche that says, if you would like so and so niche blog that makes $100 or $1000 or more every month, and fund your blog, click here for free training.
You can customize however suits your blog and test what works and what doesn't.
I think this issue has to do with your website not being indexed as yet, however this may have changed by now.
It usually takes a good two weeks for sites to get indexed you will receive an email when this happens.
Or else you may input in Google site:[domain].com and see what comes there.
Hope you get it resolved sooner.

I'll just have to wait two weeks or whatever to see when I get indexed I guess.

My links work when I put on the Google search so I guess I have to clear my cache
