How come if Jaaxy says I'm on page 4 of google and I look on page 4 I don't see my site? Is it because they may only show 10 results for example and maybe my site is at positio

Sometimes it's hard to tell where your content really is in Google. That's why I only watch my stats in Google Webmaster Tools.

Ahh. I've been to the webmaster site, but is there something that we need to embed into our code in order to see this for ourselves, or does one of the webmaster tools tell us this information?

I created a blog on this recently. Maybe this will clear a couple things up for you:)

I replaced my avatar picture in gravatar for the admin on my site, I wasn't sure of the password so I changed it.

But it appears that was the password for the log me in bu

This is something you will need to contact support for. Go to Websites ^& hosting to your middle left click on that then near the plane at the top click support and go from them.
That why Kyle explains in his training video it is important not to change the admin and log in details.
Take care
Andre

I'll do that apache.

That's just the thing, I didn't know that the gravatar password would be the same as the password that was linked to that button. Luckily I wrote it down so worse case scenario I'll have to log in everytime.

Another lesson learned :)

I fixed it. It all works correct now. :)

Each lesson learned is a step forward and closer to success.
Take care wishing your well

Excellent that one piece of advice you have for the next person. Your are not the first take care well done.
Andre

Indeed.

Thanks Andre!

I downloaded a theme that I like but I'm having issues installing it. I thought I could use the *.zip file, but I got the error, "The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_f

Hi,

you can upload it through a FTP Client like FileZilla.

Connect to your website using the FTP details given here under "Build My Website" and then in the "Action" tab next to your domain click on "Details".

Once you're connected to your website, double click on the folder symbol and upload your theme into the following file direction:

/httpdocs/wp-content/themes

Don't upload it as a .zip file. Once you unpacked it, your theme should have all files in one folder. Upload the whole folder and not each file seperate.

Once it's uploaded, disconnect and under Appearance --> Themes in your WordPress Dashboard, you should be able to activate your theme.

Hope this helps and if you need any help, let me know. :)

Hey Nicole, thanks for replying.

I'm somewhat confused, why do I need to click the "Details" button next to the "Log me in" button?

Also, you said, "once I'm connected to my website..." basically I just need to click the "Log Me In!" button, right?

Finally, where is the folder I need to upload the theme to located?

Or will it all be clear when I download FileZilla?

Maybe it helps to say that i am at my day job and I can't download anything to this laptop, since its not "mine". will have to download FileZilla later when I get home :)

Thanks

Hi. Yes, It's a bit confusing but when you click "Log Me In", you're logging into your WP Dashboard where you can create a post, upload images and themes, etc.

This way you're limited in size, but when you're using FTP, you can upload a bigger file size.

That's where the "Details" link comes in action. You'll find the info you need in order to connect to your website using FTP instead your WP Dashboard.

Here's a neat little video from a member called welshy. I recommend you watch this to connect to your website via FTP.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/ftp-filezilla-connecting-to-domain-via-ftp

Then you need to go to the location I provided in my previous comment.

/httpdocs/wp-content/themes

When you download a theme, it's usually a .zip file and it's got a symbol looking like a staple of books. Right click this file and click open or double click to open. This will show the files included in the .zip file. There's usually one folder with the name of your theme.

However, if your theme is not in one folder and the zip file contains many files and folders, then create a new folder on your Desktop. To do so Right Click --> New --> Folder. Rename the folder and give it the name of the theme.

Now go back to the zip file and if it isn't still open, you need to open it again. Highlight all files and drag & drop them to the folder you've just created.

All you need to do then is to upload this folder to the direction above. :)

Alright, I got it now. Thanks sooo much for helping me out with this. I know WA has over 12K themes, and that can be a bit overwhelming.

Anywho, when I get home I'll do what you suggested. Again, thanks!!

You're welcome and if you need more help on this topic, you know where to find me. :)

I want to use a Visa to pay Jaxxy but it looks like it only accepts PayPal. Is that true, it only accepts PayPal?

This is the only payment option at the moment, within Paypal however, you can use credit card, debit card, or bank account. Kyle had mention on another post that they will consider other payment options in the future and in some circumstances (if you buy at least one year) they will accept a money order.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Talk soon,
Eddie

Hey thanks Eddie. I do have a paypal account, just don't have any money in it at the moment. I suppose I could just transfer some $$ into it and go from there.

You can definitely do that, but it may take some business days to credit your Paypal account. You can also add a credit card. If you don't have any funds on your balance it will charge your credit card that you have on file and you should be good to go.

After you add your CC on Paypal, then go to http://www.jaaxy.com/order

Talk soon,
Eddie

That's exactly what I did. Works out perfect.

Thanks again Eddie!

Awesome, glad it worked.
