Noah Kagan, the person Tim talks about in this article mentioned a website called www.cruchbase.com
Let's say you are thinking about building a website and want to know if the particular niche or theme you are planning on building your page around is making money for other people. You can search for company information on Crunchbase to find out how popular and profitable the company is!
I haven't used the site extensively myself yet, but it looks pretty promising!
