If I printed everything out that is in my computer and external hard drive, I could fill up a room with reams and reams of paper about everything I think I have to know about how to build a successful business online. While I am not a hoarder, this collection is 15 years in the making, and I am sure tons of it is outdated. Well, maybe I am just an internet hoarder, hmm, maybe I need to check my closets...but anyhow, the point is, there is a disease in internet marketing land. That disease, I hope you don't have it, is called Shiny New Method (like shiny new object). Now, I'll admit, I did learn alot of over the years with some of these shiny new methods, but many of them turned out to be just junk.

But, the only thing that wasn't junk, was a book I read. I did mention the book here at first, but I am not sure if that is against the Blog Rules, so I took it out. But what I got from it, was, If you are going to run a business, and this website we are building is a business, we can have fun with it, but, as income, it is serious, and this book changed how I looked at myself in business. If you are like me, "I have to do it all myself or it won't get done" attitude, it was really trans-formativeor just to see this guy start from nothing to giant, as I hope WA will be for all us newbies! (well, not really a newbie, but totally directionless at this point).

Yes you can share the name of the book. I'm interested to know. I actually had a fear of money (I know completely strange) and I read this book called Make Money Not Excuses by Jean Chatzky this year. That's the first book I read in years and although I didn't think of it as great by any means there were a few things that really helped me with getting over fears of being successful...and here I am casting that fear to the side. I hoard information too btw. I probably have over 200 tabs opened in my browser on my computer alone. Let's not talk about my cell phone lol.

I started out as a do-it-all-myself person and continued like that until I made some income from my attempts here. But then I started outsourcing some things that were faster for someone else to do.
From my experience so far, WA has so much support and information... it is really worth being a member here. :)

Ha ha, yes, much better to be the one that oursources, than the outsourcee, which I was kind of playing both roles, but never with enough time for my own ventures.
