Staying Focused at One Month!
It will be four weeks ago this coming Tuesday since I joined WA. Wow! I can't believe how much I've gotten done and also how much I've learned, from the training but also from all of you. Thank you so much helpful people!
Now mind you, I had quite a bit of experience in building websites and 'attempting' to get traffic from almost 20 years ago or more but I happily accept that the old info is outdated and simply doesn't work anymore. Thank God it doesn't because it was tough back then.
I'm closely following Kyle's training and trying to stay focused on the simple things. That's all it is really. Pretty simple. Choose a viable niche. Create a website with the wonderful tools available here. Use the SEO Tools. Create quality content that helps people. Repeat the last sentence. And again..
At the tail end of the Level 3 training there is a video that kind of recaps all of those simple steps. I want to remain focused on those because that.. is how we become successful.
While I've been creating content, getting feedback and comments (thank you all :D), I've noticed some more keywords under queries in Google Analytics that I could probably hone in on in future articles. Jay brought it up in a Live training last week actually. :)

Pretty happy with the look and feel of my first website here. Made a logo through one of the free online resources that one of our colleagues shared. If you need the info, let me know but I think you can probably find the post by using the search function at the top of the page.
Need to create more content but I never would have thought I would have all the content I already do in a month. I see I'm showing in search results but not very high. No clicks yet. :P I know that with patience and continually adding quality content, my rankings will go up and the traffic will come.
Onward and upward and staying focused! :D

In this short time you have accomplished so much, and it is to be congratulated. Continue your progress in the same way towards the goal and you will succeed. Yes focus is a constant we all need to have.
