One Year Mark! Still Here and Still Working.

Well it's been one year since I went Premium at WA. I'm grateful to have found it when I did. It also marks one year and one week since my mother passed away. My niche site is dedicated to educating people on how to avoid dementia. So it's pretty personal.

I started making some friends here pretty early. It felt like home. The training is more than worth it and site support is excellent. On the rare occasions I've had to consult them, they've been 'Johnny on the spot' and fixed things or at least told me what was wrong. It's all worth it!

I've started a few other sites, but can't seem to stray from my main niche site, since it's personal.

Your niche site should be somewhat personal. That's what keeps you coming back and continuing to work on it, even when success eludes you in the beginning.

My site has seen some success but not as much as I envisioned a year ago. I just hope Google recognizes the one year mark. lol. It seems a significant milestone and one that many have noted as a turning point.

My creative side has me stray from the proven tactics now and then but I always end up realizing that Kyle, Carson and Jay really know what they're talking about. Don't get too fancy. Keep it simple.

One thing I've realized is that the ability to go through the ebb and flow of world events, pandemics and trends and being resilient to them and working With them instead of against them is key. Use Google Alerts for key subjects so you know what is trending in your niche.

Go with it and either agree with other's articles or disagree and tell your audience why. That has been a big source of content ideas for me. :)

This platform and my site have changed the trajectory of my life. And my thinking. And delving into my niche topic has definitely changed it.
