Health Coach? My niche is heading there.
HI WA fam,
So I've kind of gone down another rabbit hole of ideas. I'd love to get your input on some thoughts I'm having.
I started seeing ads (obviously targeted toward me) for Health Coach programs. My niche is on memory and brain function and it's turning out to be a whole health and wellness website, focusing on All aspects of brain health. That was the first rabbit hole.
So I'm looking into some of these Health Coach training programs. They are all around $4k US to $6k US for a six month program. Some have financing and programs to help you market yourself etc etc.
My question to you is.. do you think this would benefit me for my website and beyond? Or can I call myself a health coach anyway?
Thanks so much in advance. :)
Paula

To get into the health coach niche is a good idea but I don't think you have to spend that big money just to be a certified health coach as you can get similar programs in Udemy for as low as $20.
I think it is a good niche and it will be a benefit to your website.Currently the Global medicine is shifting also and is a good thing to follow the shift on your journey.
You real coach is within and is sending messages to the subconscious mind for selection which will be passed to the conscious mind for action.
The subconscious mind acts like a translator for the conscious mind.
Hi Paula,
Goodness I see a bit of controversy in the comments below. You certainly have the knowledge to be a health coach from what I have read.
Being an online health coach, I think the knowledge you already have would work quite well for you without having to spend a lot of money for certification.
Best wishes,
Michael
Paula,
I'm going to weigh in here... Dr. Steve Jones sells Snake Oil. He has Certification Courses for everything!
Take a good Course in Good standing from a reliable source.
As for Health Coach, you may think of another Coach title when you are done, so don't pigeonhole yourself there.

Organized information is all they are selling you. The same knowledge is found for free with EDx or coursera where you can audit courses for no money, which lets you take all that you want.
Just figure out what it is you want/desire to learn and focus on obtaining that information. I would only spend the money if you are going to do reviews and earn it all back with your strategy and planning.
Dr. Steve G Jones has cheap courses with certification. Spending More doesn't equal receiving more.
Education means what you learn because it's your knowledge being improved, not somebody else's bank account is built.

For me, the benefits of training programs or degrees isn't so much in the details of the knowledge of that particular industry.
I've always been an very curious and voracious learner on the things I'm interested.
But rather comradery & focus on networking and learning professional standards.
