Hey all!

If you ever wonder where to learn affiliate marketing, Wealthy Affilliate is your best bet! In the past 12 years the price point has never changed, yet the platform has changed every year. 2019 is no exception to that and many new changes and updates to the platform are coming soon.

Don't believe me? I got some of these changes already confirmed by the CEO of Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle.

In the last Las Vegas 2019 WA Blog Post of Kyle, I sneaked in some requests of my own to the comment section. To much surprise I got some direct "answers" from Kyle concerning them.

Since the changes are going to impact us all, I thought I should share them all with you, for not everybody sees the comments that I place in some long line of comments on a post.

I wrote:

The Super Affiliate Las Vegas experience sounds amazing as always and I am definitely working hard towards it!

I do indeed hope that many new interesting features are going to be added and especially certain things are going to be improved in the coming time.

To name a few:
- sitecomments (mostly because it's now hard to get credits to buy them)
- sitecontent (h4,h5?)
- wa blog editor (sitecontent editor?)
- jaaxy (improvements that make it more interesting in a market of seo tools)

I will deepen my above comment a little, so you get an idea of what I am talking about.

SiteComments

Previously it was a huge issue to get enough people to use the system to get a comment on your post. This wasn't the case for all categories, but certain categories where less people were able to give comments had this problem. For example, my pets related website is such a category that got less attention.

With the recent update to the sitecomments system, many people are interested in giving comments because:

  1. You can get an important boost on getting more comments faster
  2. You can actually make money (credits) with placing comments.

SiteContent H4 and H5

The SiteContent system to write content for your sites is simply amazing. If you have any type of problems with WordPress's new system for writing content, than you should definitely use SiteContent. It skips the whole step of having to bother with the different elements. That said, they might change the experience, because we will have to go with on all the WordPress changes I guess.

Anyhow, H4 and H5 are non-existent in the SiteContent editor, while I often use only H3 H4 and H5 for headings in my content (H1 is reserved for the main title of your blog and H2 is practically unusable).

WA Blog Editor

Note, I had not noticed at all that the WA Blog Editor had actually already been changed to that of the SiteContent editor, hence that question. Still why do we have two editors, one SiteContent and one for local content. Can't we simply choose where to publish towards from one central place?

Jaaxy Improvements

You might not know it, but Jaaxy is actually developed in-house by the Wealthy Affiliate owners too. That's why I mention improvement to this tool to them.

I have been running Jaaxy Pro for the first year and afterwards I went to Enterprise. Its a huge price to pay but the product is so good. I just feel that I cannot sell the product to anyone else out there. While the tool is great on keyword research for USA, you cannot sell it to someone in Norway or France, to name a couple of examples.

First of all does the Norwegian (or French or other language you can think of) have special characters in their alphabet. We have the ø æ å that are not supported by Jaaxy. It will simply not show me any results, whether or not Google has results for it.

Secondly, I'd like to search for my local country, like search results of Google Norway. That way I could use the tool as well for my pure Norwegian websites to write quality content with keywords in mind. Right now I got to guess... or use a premium tool like Semrush that does support it. Semrush costs 99 USD per month at the absolute minimal. Jaaxy is for me at 59USD a better price point.

I also would like to analyse my competition of what they are ranking for. There's probably more I could have seen added, such as even better rank tracking, but the above options would actually give it a fair chance against bigger and more popular tools out there.

To be able to promote Jaaxy to a wider audience, we need to position Jaaxy really well into the Keyword Search Tool market and become a proper opponent to other tools.

Kyle's Reply (and tip of iceberg reveal)

Now I will show you the reply of Kyle and give it some extra comments for you to explain.

sitecomments (mostly because it's now hard to get credits to buy them)

Yes, we have updates coming to SiteComments. We altered the needle from not enough commenters, to too many. We will sway this back so it is more levelled out and there are more revenue opportunities there.

sitecontent (h4,h5?)

We have bigger updates than that coming to SiteContent.

- wa blog editor (sitecontent editor?)

The blog editor was updated to reflect SiteContent tools/features, but yes, you should be export at the very least to a "WA blog post". I agree and this is a major request from me as well.

- jaaxy (improvements that make it more interesting in a market of seo tools)

Yes, we have some really awesome and breakthrough updates coming to Jaaxy.

This on top of a lot of new platforms that we have been working on for some time, technology improvements to our hosting platforms, and new features and offerings here within WA for more advanced users.

Last Comments From Me

So there are great things in the works and even some smaller stuff is going to get fixed. SiteComments got indeed a little too far in the other direction and will be balanced out so that we got more content to reply on and perhaps easier for getting comments requested. How they are going to tackle that I have no clue about. Only minor speculation.

One such speculative thing (big disclaimer!) is that they could add for random comments again from the past. I used to get sometimes comments or feedback on sites that I had left behind in the graveyard for many months if not years. This had to do with the old system sometimes generating new "free" requests for those that had nothing to comment or feedback on.

Another speculative thing would be to lower the cost or to gain credits in multiple ways on the platform.

On SiteContent, the system is probably going to get an overhaul. Is that perhaps based upon the fact that WordPress had a recent design and system overhaul? We will soon know it I guess. Being able to properly header seems to be part of it though and I am glad to hear that.

The WA blog editor had indeed already received a major update comparable to the SiteContent one, I missed that actually or didn't notice it. I used to have lots of trouble with H1-H3 on the old. Now that seems to be solved.

Nevertheless he mentioned the connection with SiteContent. Being able to publish from only one writing platform is high on my and his wishlist. We will see when it comes.

On Jaaxy he didn't say much, but it sounds like there are some major changes (and perhaps additional functionality) coming to the platform and I am really looking forward to it.

One More Request

There's still one more request I didn't mention in my comment and that has to do with subtitles on video content.

If we would be able to add subtitles (transcribing video) for both WA tutorials and WA webinar, it would be an additional way to perhaps earn credits and on the other side of the story we woul d get a much better (and accessible) video experience to the people wanting to study it, a big plus for those of other languages and for those that are hearing-impaired).

Anyway, lots and lots of promising new updates coming to Wealthy Affiliate and all that for the same price point. Isn't that amazing? You did the right thing if you chose Wealthy Affiliate as the platform where to learn affiliate marketing.

Please leave your thoughts on these upcoming changes below. What do you think is going to be addressed first?

- Steven

p s did you notice that some changes already came to the platform as of today? I noticed that there are checkmarks for the account setup right beneath my profile image (see header image) and when I clicked on them I could go back to the old content I once placed. I saw for example the goals I set for 2 years ago. I did a reply on my own comment and updated it with my goals for 2019. Check yours!
