Woah! 784 Visitors In One Day!
Hi everyone,
I had a great result the other day and I wanted to share with you all.
784 visitors in just 1 day!
This I believe is largely thanks to a review that got shared on a genealogy Facebook page.
The person who shared my review has 15,000 followers and 26 of them shared it as well.
Also, that day I had 17 people subscribe to my email list.
A great result and certainly my best so far.
Went a bit low but still high!
The next day my visitors dropped to about 600 and today looks a similar story.
Right now I plan on improving old posts. I'm making the posts more attractive to read and hopefully will make people stay longer on the page.
Anyways, I'll keep you all informed on how I get on.

It's taken a bit of a slump, but that was a definite high. Won't let that get me down, I'll keep pushing.
Yep. I have 2 informative posts that I have noticed that are in my top 10 posts on Analytics.
Since this discovering I have added ads to them.

I've always been focused on improving my site.
My problem was hoping that Google would notice my hard work.
That's been my downfall. My real goal should be helping people, and by doing so Google will rank my site highly.
Yep. You can get so caught up with Google and whether you are ranking.
And so you forget who you are trying to impress in the first place, your visitors.
