Reach Out and Get Noticed
Hi everyone,
For the past 10-15 posts I have been contacting other website owners if I refer to them in a post.
This is a good idea as it will give you more traffic and if the owner likes your site then they may share it as well.
Well I have the good fortune to say that that is the case for me.
My Domain Authority was sitting on 22 for a couple of months, but checking now it has jumped to 27.
I checked and I see that another genealogy blog has linked to my site. So this has helped my credibility.
I have also noticed that my visitors have climbed slightly. Maybe it is because of this.
The point is that you should reach and get noticed. I'll be doing more of this and will see where it takes me.

I got the idea by someone who suggested I link to other people's blogs/sites in my posts.
I thought to myself though would they be able to discover this linking on their own.
So why not make it easier and show them that you have linked to them. And this get some traffic.
I've done a few guest posts for another site, and also had a guest blogger write a post on my site. I've also recently asked for guest bloggers on my home page. Hopefully in time someone will want to write posts and help build my site.
Once you have written your post and linked to a respective website then just email them. And also give them a link to your post.

I have been looking for a way to boost my site visitors and also others by connecting to them. It is a nice idea you have shared. Looking for people who are in the same niche with me to share our connections. Thank you for sharing Owain.
If I see something I like on someone's blog then I will link to it ans comment on it. It's only fair then to let that person know.
How will I do that?
