My September Goals Revisited!
Hello everyone,
I had a bit of slow month in September, so I had to catch up in October. And I can say that I have done that.
So what did I do in October:
- Write four 4,000 word reviews about DNA testing companies.
- Write 13 posts instead of my 12 post goal for a month.
- Contact genealogists to share my site and get exposure.
- Comment on other genealogy blog posts, (still need to do more of this).
I am currently on 175 posts and want to get to 200 by the end of the year. So I am confident that I will reach that goal. If not then I am happy with my progress so far.
I have a site that I am really proud of. I have got a solid foundation there which I can really build on.
Money coming in is still roughly $100-$150 a month. I'm not too fussed about that now. I'm just concentrating on building out my site with quality posts. I know that if I continue to do that that visitors will come.
I know that there is still room for improvement to my site. And I do have ideas in mind. But if you do have any suggestions then I am happy to hear them.

Yeah I try to set myself some goals for the month. It's not always easy to keep to as I have family and work commitments. But as long as I do at least some of them it's a step in the right direction.

I am very new here at WA, but judging on your goals and performance, it looks like I have some hard work ahead of me. But I will do my best to be successful.
Hi James. There is a lot of hard work involved, and commitment. You must really want this to happen and it will test you at times.
My site isn't performing as I would like, but I know that I have a solid foundation there. I know because of that that it will become profitable. It just takes time.
