Is The GDPR Good For Us?
Hi everyone,
I wanted to take a different spin on this topic.
Most people on here are wondering what GDPR is all about and what they need to do.
I've already updated my 2 sites ready for May 25th thanks to the training by Kyle and Loes.
Genealogy world going into meltdown!
Checking Twitter though and it's bit of a different story.
Some genealogy bloggers are scared and thinking about closing down their blogs.
Now before you say anything it is a dog-eat-dog world, so the less competition that I have the better.
Does anyone else agree?
I don't want to sound mean but this GDPR Compliance could be a good thing for us.

Well, am yet to understand the exact good in connection to our business. Both Kyle and Loes brought about two different plugins that need to be installed, are they both necessary or either of them is enough?
Hi mate,
I added the EU Cookie and Tracking plugin that Loes did training on.
Then after seeing Kyle's post that followed I added the GDPR Compliance as well.
It's best to be covered so I would suggest adding them both.
As bloggers and affiliate marketers we shouldn't worry if we set things up properly.
Also, I have noticed that it has scared my competition, so it's a good thing for me all this GDPR stuff.

I agree with you. Confusion. Is often the seeds to opportunity.
Yeah but I think when the dust settles it will be game on as usual.
Hopefully it is time for us affiliate marketers to really shine!
