I Like Facebook Because .
You get commission from people who buy something that you didn't even refer them to. For example, people have bought products such as aprons, a soundbox and a book about buses. Totally unrelated to my genealogy niche.
One thing that I don't like or rather I need to work around is the new pay structure that's Amazon will start on March 1st. And that is you get a certain pay rate for whatever category your products are in. No more tiered structure. Darn it, just when I had got to the magical 7 sales in one month and was aiming for the third tier.
So now I see that I will have to try and sell products within the Home and Apparel respective categories. I have already something in mind with my site, which means I will have to add a new section/page to it.
Looks like my genealogy site will have to evolve, but at least it will be better for this Amazon change. And if I make this change to my site then I will be making more money. So it's probably a blessing in disguise

As with our businesses, change it necessary. We just have to play along with them I guess if we want to remain with their program. Thanks for sharing.

Yes we need to accept change and move on. I intend to work with this change. Although it will take time to fix my site up for this change it will definitely benefit because of it.
Lol, I like that.
I did see this Amazon change as a hurdle. But I am looking at as something that I can tackle and embrace. And my site will profit from it.
