Get Notified!
Following on from my Reach Out and Get Noticed post I want to share with you another tip that will give your site some momentum.

I have a plugin called Comment Approved, (others maybe available), where visitors who comment can get notified when you have replied to their comment.
This is useful for them and you:
- Visitors don't have to keep checking back to see if you've replied to their comment, which may include a suggestion or query.
- It can help with your SEO and ranking because if people see there is a reply to their comment then they may comment again.
This last point happened to me and so your post length will get longer and your post will get noticed more by google.

If it is for the purpose of extending the thread of conversation then I think it's important.
Yeah I suppose. But you can imagine your visitor's frustration when they keep checking and checking for your response.
You may lose a visitor if they become annoyed because you haven't replied to their message when they have checked. But if they know that they WILL get notified when you have responded.
So that means that they can get on with other things. And when they get notified then they can come by your reply.
