External Links Work!
Hi everyone,
I've just put up a new Best Of review and was pleasantly surprised with one of the comments I received.
With all of my posts I contain at least one external link. This time I received a comment from the person that I linked to.
I'm not sure how he found me, but anyways.
He liked what I wrote and said that he would share my post with his followers on Facebook. I was quite pleased when I checked out his page and he has 25,000 followers :-)
So, the moral of this story ... USE EXTERNAL LINKS!

Yeah I was quite surprised with this. I'll have to check whether he has shared my post with his followers. Hopefully he has.
I use a combination of internal and external in my posts. I feel like I am being noticed more and more in the niche circles. Hopefully it translates into an income soon.
Internal and external links are great for SEO, but this just took it to another level. Hopefully the guy will share my work :-)

Thanks for the compliment. I try not to get too technical with my niche. I’m catering to the newcomer to genealogy so I try to keep it simple. But also informative at the same time.
I’ll keep plugging away and writing my reviews.
