Does it get any easier?

Right now I'm juggling what I should do next on a daily basis. I checked on here for notifications, go through the course, add people on here and social networks and plug my site there. Then there's writing my posts and building my site, along with the comments.

There is just so much to. Does it get any easier?

Does anyone have a game plan/strategy that they follow?

I suppose it's difficult because I try to do what I can when I can, what with work and family commitments. I might have 30 minutes here and there. And sometimes longer where I can concentrate on doing the course or writing a post.

Would like to know what other people do and how they plan their time. I know I'm going forward though and what I do whenever I can still benefits my website in some way.

Mind you I've only been working at my website for a month. But I've learned some valuable lessons that have already made the daily process easier.

First, write yourself a prioritized list at the start of the week of the most important tasks to get done. Except for urgent customer issues, don't let yourself get distracted and derailed from that list. Start with a fresh list each week to stay focused.

Second, try to do all like tasks in a concentrated block, if possible. The kind of focus your brain needs is different for different kinds of tasks, so you'll be more productive if you break your jobs into categories and plow through them one category at a time. For example, I've learned to sit and do all my content writing at one time, but I edit and add photos to the posts at a separate time.

Finally, make your social media posts directly from your website via social sharing buttons. This saves time over searching out and logging into half a dozen sites, and helps your rankings from what I understand.

These are just a few things I've figured out. Hopefully something here will help.

I do think all jobs get easier with time, so hang in there!

Thanks Deedee.

Since I've written this blog I have continued to write posts and improve on the look of them. I come back and again to the course when I can but right now my focus is making my site look good and having a solid foundation. I have redesigned two of my pages and added a third - Special Family Days. Now I feel confident to carry on with the course and build on my site and knowledge.

I have found my way since this blog.

There is a lot to do and a lot to learn but you can only do what you have time for

I make time to build my online business because if I don't It will never happen

Time is not important what is important is your priority's

We all have different priority's

You have to decide what they are

Barry

That's one thing that I try to get right no matter what I do, it's priorities. Usually what I do is what is easiest first. That way I feel more positive moving forward. Sometimes though I procrastinate and just concentrate more on the easy things, and leave the hard things until I've exhausted all the easy stuff. Hope that makes sense.

When I sit down to do whatever with this I look at how much time have I got and whether I will have some peace to do it. That may mean I will just work on getting a following if I haven't got long. Or writing a post and researching if I know I won't be disturbed and have a few hours to concentrate.

One thing at a time.

Yep too true. I feel though as there's more and more that I've learned that there's more to do, lol. I'll get there.

It all comes together like a jig-saw puzzle in time. Just choose your priorities.

Forrest

well, it is a challenge. I think the best thing would be to give myself a schedule for a list of things, but I actually never even write the list, at least not completely, and I do what in the moment seems to be more urgent to do....

Yep that's me I do what I can when I can. My plan though is in my head. I need to have something written down in front of me so that I can follow.

And writing it down need some discipline - and even more to act according to it afterwards. I think I feel too creative and that this is limiting my freedom. But it is probably only an Ego-thing.....

It is difficult to fit everything in sometimes and that's why the courses are designed for you to work at your own pace. I wish I could create an extra couple of hours in the day for all of us, but as, alas, I'm not a magician (!) all I can say is that every little step is a step closer to your goals. All the work you're putting in now will be so worth it in the end. Keep on keeping on! :)

The courses are good because they show you what you need to learn and then build on it. I know I'll get there, and I'm not really down on myself, it's just there is a lot to do. But hey ho!

Hi owian i too have a job and family and only have a limited amount of time to do this but what i have found is that it gets more interesting not really easier but once you see things happen then you will get really involved and the more you post, etc the easier it will become and if you ever need any help just ask we've got your back

Thank you so much Joshua, that's really kind of you. It certainly is getting interesting writing new posts. I feel that I'm getting better at the writing, just need to concentrate on the social media, which is all new to me. I'll get there.

Yes sir you will and you have a whole community in your corner so keep it up

I feel your pain! I'm like this too. I've got some resources that I'll post.

Thank you so much. I think I need to be a bit organised. At the moment I got notes in various places. Once I've completed the course maybe I'll be a bit more with it.

I did recently blog about software that I use if that would be helpful. Prob the most effective has been mindNode - it's a personal favorite in strategic planning because I need to see things visually in order to not be overwhelmed.

Thank you for the blog. I've bookmarked it for now and will read it when I get a chance, lol. I did skip through and saw the elephant picture, and that is exactly how I feel. Thanks for that.

Not really easier, you just get better at doing it.

Certainly feels like that. I feel like I've got better at the writing, although I know that I can improve on that. It's just other things that are new to me, but will get better at them in time. Thanks.

I believe you are further along than I am, but I have this belief that if someone else has been successful at something, then I can be successful at it as well. Keep the hope up and go after it!

Yes well that's right. That's how I feel. People are already making money online. If I can put in the effort, which I will, then why can't I be successful too.
