Hi guys,

As you all know, I got invited to the super affiliate challenge a few months ago.

I have been working at it for a good deal of time and I have to say that this year, since the challenge, I have learned lots of things.

I have had numerous light bulb moments that have changed my approach to many things drastically, that have in turn improved the quality of my online business.

And my aim with this post is to share the gist of those discoveries and how they can help scale your online business as well.

They say sharing is caring but I believe sharing creates better understanding of what you share.

Well, let’s get on with it.

Insight #1 - Your Mindset

I know it’s a bit cliché but there’s a good reason as to why I start with it.

See, people believe that mindset is something you get into in minutes or hours, or even days

like the way you get into a state of wakefulness after watching a mind empowering video or such alike.

That’s not what mindset means. It’s a totally different thing.

I have come to learn that, by default, we have been designed to be people who are easily distracted by bells and whistles that don’t really benefit us in the long run.

Also, we are more inclined to the easiest things life that carry little benefit compared to the harder tasks that come with long term benefits.

Now our job as humans, is to use our very able hands and minds to elevate ourselves.

This is a hard task that is impossible for many but very, very achievable if you are determined.

Personally, I have come to learn that it starts with your determination to change your mind and then it is backed up by your surroundings (the people you hang around, the videos and movies you watch, the beliefs you have)

If you are able to keep up your determination by not trying to get it outside but build it within yourself through pushing your limits and with subliminal messages and affirmations, consistently for 3 weeks, you are going to improve in a great way.

Insight #2 - Grouping and Simplifying Your Daily Tasks

First of all, don’t over work yourself in the name of working hard. It doesn’t do any good.

I think it all comes down to how well planned you are in terms of the tasks you want to carry out.

A wise person once said, “There is a difference between movement and progress”

You can be making a lot of movement but in the same place, not going forward.

But you ideally need to be making progress.

And you do this by first creating a plan.

Personally, I first create goals, financial and business based goals.

The financial goals act as an incentive to work hard while the business based goals help you know that you are working toward development and long term success.

After creating the goals, you now need to plan how to get to each of the goals.

Here, you group the tasks that you have to work on everyday based on difficulty and type of tasks.

I normally start with the hard tasks in the morning when my mind is fresh and then later on, do the simple tasks when my mind is fairly weighed down.

Insight #3 - Understanding the Importance of Failure in Your Success Journey

If you are like most people, including myself, you will fail at first, at everything.

But if you let your first failure be it for you to drop the whole thing, then you have no chance of ever learning anything or progressing to become an expert at anything.

See, there is a difference between what we think and the reality.

We perceive things will be easy and we will achieve what we want in a very short time. But the reality is, there is a lot to learn about what you are doing, and then a lot of practice to master it .

And this takes time, and numerous mistakes and failures to get there.

I have personally made mistakes through the years in terms of online business.

And to be honest, I still make mistakes.

And I can bet you that I am going to make even more in the future before I become an expert.

So don’t beat yourself down because you made a simple mistake on your site that costed you in a way.

That is a good lesson on what not to do next time to avoid messing things up.

The most important thing is to know where you made the mistake and why it is actually a mistake. After that, know the right way to do it and move on.

You need to keep going. You need to keep growing.

And that, my friends is all I have to share.

I will keep you updated on the other new things I learn as time goes by.

I would also love to know what you’ve learned through the time you’ve been in WA.

Drop your experience and lessons below, we’d all love to hear them.

Otherwise, enjoy your day and your experience with your businesses! :)
