What you believe can make you smarter
MINDSET, THE NEW PSYCHOLOGY OF SUCCESS
Dr. Carol S. Dweck is a leading researcher in the fields of personality, social psychology and developmental psychology and through extensive research has discovered that two powerful beliefs can strongly affect what you want in life and whether you will succeed in getting it. One belief, the fixed mindset, is the belief that human qualities are cast in stone; that you’re either smart or you’re not smart. The other belief, the growth mindset, is that the hand you are dealt with is just a starting point and that your basic qualities are things you can cultivate through your efforts.
We must chose the growth mindset, and focus on our goals to achieve success. All we need are good working habits, perseverance, and dedication. And the strong belief that we will make it happen.
To Success!!
