Mobile friendly website design is a given here at WA and is certainly obtained with the push of a button and/or a search for a responsive theme. And as we know with the recent release of our FREE upgrade to the paid version of the "KRAKEN" :) I love it thanks you WA.

Mobile is certainly a prerequisite to staying in the game of SEO and very much a focal point to our wonderful developers of Wealthy affiliate and the training we are blessed with is constantly updated to optimize for mobile to ensure us all the opportunity to stay in the serps. For that I am forever grateful.

The Keys To A Mobile Friendly Website Design On A Silver Platter

Litteraly that's how we receive it undoubtedly with the best of nearly everything.

  • Unlimited Responsive Themes
  • Ultra Fast Secure Hosting
  • Upto Date Image Optimization plugins
  • Unlimited Advice and Trainings

The latest advice to improve website loading speed, which has been a thorn in my but for sometime after a mysterious let down.

Post a year ago my results were brilliant and then one day checking out the details on my main site there were dramatic drops and I noticed inside the community many others were experiencing the same thing.???

One thing I began to notice was a change mobile page speed was commonly after a theme update. So since then I have been trialing and testing a multitude of themes without resorting to a paid theme. Cause I am a bum marketer and like doing most things for FREE:)

The Latest Trend To Optimize For Mobile

The most common advice flying around here and all over the serps to gain premium results how to improve mobile website loading speed is the use of an AMP plugin, and AMP for WP being the most favorite of the few available.

I watched jays live training on how to implement AMP for WP and saw how easy it was and yes I got much better website loading speeds. But the free version presented confusing errors inside google and without spending hundreds on the upgrade of AMP for WP the control over my content and display is very limited???

I Am Obsessed To Make My Website Faster With Control

I know the importance to master the skills to optimize for mobile and improve website loading times for Rankings Lowering Bounce Rates and ultamitely leading to more conversions as much as it is to have the ability to display quality ads and not continue the getting error codes popping up in webmaster tools. So I put it into the hands of the lord and asked him to lead me the way:). And last night 10/7/2019 NZ time I picked up my phone to have a quick look at my news feed before bed and discovered a write up on a brand new breakthrough theme.

With all my own personal testing of different themes, plugins, watching videos, WA training s and advice I found Nothing was meeting my expectations to get the results like in the header of this post. Like I mentioned a little earlier in my own analysis the Theme was the most responsible for not achieving my desired results. This New theme sounded exciting I couldn't help to stay up a little longer and install in on my website and see if it was going to live up to its lightweight promise.

I Was Like OMG that was instant!

From the creators of AMP for WP we have a completely new theme available full built from the AMP framework following all of google new rules. You can check out how it looks and the features it currently offers at the official website # LevelUP

This optimized theme for mobile is not available on the WA repository yet, but if you want to give it a go our Man Kaju has a simple training here.

I Am Determined To Not Get Left Behind

I am gunning through the training, Launched into another niche or should I say began disciplining myself to get the work done on a niche I researched out two years ago lol. As it turns out it is potentially very profitable so I am kicking myself for procrastinating:)

I also want to dedicate to being a part of the most valuable network of affiliate marketers in the world of giving and getting the best help, guidance and advice

Going through the roof

Hi Robert,

Thank you for the share.

My desktop speeds around the 95+ mark, my mobile speeds are in the yellow.

I haven't tried Kraken yet, messed around with different themes. Yoast, AIO, and now am playing with Rank Math.

Seeing most traffic is via mobile, I feel it is important and keep experimenting.

I am open to any any and every suggestion to increase my mobile speed.

I see Robert has left a link to a training by Loes, and I respect and admire them greatly. I will me looking into that.

As far as Google is concerned, they seem to be flip flopping all over the place.

Thank you,

All the best,

Michael

Hi Micheal:) Thanks for chiming in bro.

Thats interesting that you are trialing different SEO plugins like that. Do you have to re enter your SEO information every time?

LOL yeah google change like the weather a bro. grrr

Kraken is a very good image machine we are rather blessed for that i say. It deemed to make a considerable difference from that of ewww.

I would be interested to know if Loes training gained you better mobile page speed score....

Wishing you Well Bro
Blessings and all Rob

Hi Rob,

Haven't got the chance to read Loes training yet.

Going to be trying out the Kraken plugin.

All the best to you too Rob,

Michael

Perhaps your site is not Mobile Friendly

My good friend Loes has an excellent training on how to achieve this One more thing.

The link you gave to Kaju's training is really only for premium members.

Free starter members wont be able to download another theme from the internet into their Wordpress.

have a good one.

Thank you Robert.
That is a great training from Loes:)
But yes my websites have been prided to continue to be mobile friendly long before my endeavor to master mobile "SPEED" optimization.
It is unfortunate but also incentive that free starters can't access the training :(
Cheers for stopping friend

Hi Robert,

I did the Google mobile friendly test Loes described in her training.
It says my website is mobile friendly, but my mobile page scores with Google Pagespeed are abysmal.

Are these unrelated or something?

No probs Robert, and how do you optimize your site for faster speed?

There are so many conflicting answers to this question I'm really hesitant to give a reply when people ask me 'How To'.

They will play a part in your speed but there must be other issue with your site such as huge images, or too many videos.
All the Bells and Whistles on your site might look pretty but they will slow your site way down.

I too am hesitant on that as I do not want to lead any body down a track I haven't been. I have just blogged about my recent discoveries and results as seen in the header photo. The date is yesterdays and today's:)
Derived from the new html5 AMP based theme along with the couple of carefully sourced plugins from the recommendations at google page speed insights.

I have at least 3 images and 1 video on each of my pages and I am really happy with the way I am moving forward with this:)
I am not offering a how to,as this is my blog and not a training, but kindly sharing what I have done in my endeavor to making my websites faster.

No probs, I wary about sharing info to individuals as well.
That's why I publish so many blogs within WA so everybody gets the chance to read and make up their own mind what they take away from them.
Robert

Thank you, I am looking at changing my theme to for the exact same reason. Mobile scores are all over the place, ranging from a 20-40. This makes me worried it will hurt SEO.

However, do you think it is safe to change the theme? Will this impact my google rankings and all?

I have had a few websites for a number of years and changed my theme many times for different reasons. with no effect on ranking at all.
But with mobile page speeds like yours I can assure you with absolute positiveness that you would likely experience great impact and juice to improve your overall rankings. Those scores are what I would say extremely low and a good cause for concern, more so than the fear of what changing your theme may playing.
For that reason alone I would suggest that be a priority task as I cant imagine that you would have a mobile friendly score at all.?

The weird thing is my desktop scores are ok, some are around 65 which might be around the low side but most are 80+.

When I check the feedback from Google insights on the mobile page it comes with all theme related things that I myself cannot change, so I have no control over it.

So yeah, likely what you say is better! Can't hurt to change my theme with a score like that for mobile.

A shame though, as I really like the look of my current website :(

I hear ya. we spend a lot of time to set them up to look nice, but the reality is google wants what it demands lol.
And to be honest I am coming to grips with simple is good.

I think Mobile is the now, and page speed is the coming. All the major sites are gearing up with AMP which is a sure sign to not get left behind...
Best of luck and sing out any time:)
Cheers Rob
