Where do I find my WA Affiliate Link?

Last Update: May 26, 2018

I see this question ALL the time, so I'm blogging it so I can bookmark it to use late.

There are two methods for finding your Affiliate Links - the first is clicking on the $ icon in the top right hand side of your page:

Select Links & Tracking to find your Affiliate links there. Alternately, on almost any page on Wealthy Affiliate, you will see this:

That is your Affiliate link directly to that particular page on Wealthy Affiliate. This is how you can link to a particular WA blog post if you choose - it doesn't even have to be your blog, if the reader signs up through the link, you'll get the referral!

Start taking advantage of some of the awesome content created by others on the platform.

So if I click the "0" on the top right of any WA post and enter an email address to the recipient, then click "Send" I am sending the WA post to the recipient.

Now if they read that post I sent them (and it can be anyone's post) and they sign up as a referral through my affiliate link on that post, I will get the referral. Correct, Mel?

How many of our own posts (and others' posts) do you think we should we be sending out per week on average?

Yes, you'll get the referral. I don't send out anyone else's posts but my own. I find that to be disingenuous and rude to the person who took time to create the post.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you Mel, now that you are saying its disingenuous to the other person who wrote that post, then why are you also stating "....Start taking advantage of some of the awesome content created by others on the platform" ?

Your last comment in your article seems to imply it is perfectly acceptable to send out other member's WA posts.

I don't expect anyone to share my personal morals. I also don't judge them. For me, I would never do it, but I do not have the right to tell anyone else how to run their business. Not in my makeup.

Hi Mel,
Thanks for an important reminder of where our affiliate link is.

With the change in the WA format, this clarifies this issue.

Good morning Mel,
You are always such a wealth of knowledge. The dollar sign is so is obvious! Such a simple thing, and yet I missed it, or more likely forgot about it. I am going back to the first training class and take a walk through class, again. When you first come to WA, there is just so much to learn; I tend to forget the little stuff, and all too obvious steps. I just purchased WordPress for Dummies. I hope to learn more about website setup and plugins. (Then I will write a blog about WordPress, and help out other newbies, as you so often do.) It is my turn to pay it forward. I do have a question, that, maybe you could help me out with. How do you turn on Grammarly in WordPress, Is this the best place to write content, and be able to utilize Grammarly? Where do you write content and blogs? When I get tired, my writing skills deteriorate to the point of embarrassment, Last night I wrote over 700 words of content in Windows Word before realizing it was all in French! English is my third language. I don't mean that to be an excuse just a fact of life. You're a kind and giving person. I truly thank you for your patience and informitive Blogs.
Your friend Sandy.

If you install Grammarly to your browser, it will work within the Wordpress dashboard. I write all my content in Site Content... use its spell/grammar check there (Grammarly doesn't work there), then publish to my site and immediately edit again in Wordpress with Grammarly (it catches things that Site Content didn't).

Yep, I got tired of answering it over and over so it's a bookmark now... along with 'how do I choose a niche?'

Yes, but I wanted to put it out there a couple of different ways since I see this question every flippin' day and I'm tired of typing the answer.
