Transfer your domain from NameCheap to WA 2016

This is how to transfer, move or point your domain from Name Cheap to Wealthy Affiliate. Name Cheap is constantly changing its dashboard so we need new tutorials to keep pace. The process is very simple and can be done in 3 minute or less. l have used screen shots, captions and arrows to make the tutorial easy to follow. This is my first blog at WA .... YEPEE!

Is it 'Login to', 'Log in to' or 'Log into' ...... hahaha. Anyway, you get the point.





You can copy and paste Wealthy Affiliate DNS addresses below to avoid errors;

ns1.mywahosting.com

ns2.mywahosting.com

Just a quick check with you. Now there are both Domains listed, but the SiteRubix one will disappear on its own -yes?

Thank you JMcLoughlin. l am glad you were not 'pickled' and you managed to transfer your domain without any glitches. l am not sure if there is a new system that makes the SiteRubix disappear with out you deleting it (not recommended). What l know is, the SiteRubix url will be redirected to your new website. You may need to carry out further research before manually removing it. Cheers.

Hi I followed you to a tee, thanks,, i got to putting in the dns but didn't get the confirmation message. how long does this take, thanks for your help in advance cheers Helen

Hi Dunbar, thanks for the follow. They say it takes 48 hrs. The confirmation message is very easy to miss. Complete the WA website set up and periodically check if the process has been complete by clicking the refresh icon on the website thumbnail. Name Cheap can update you on the progress using the chat option. Good luck.

Hi sorry to be a pain, the namecheap have said everything is ok on their end, got to the no 7 select manager then couldnt find site domains, i am really stuck on this one and getting frustrated by the minute, please Help, thanks in advance

Sorry for the delayed response. If you haven't fixed the problem, check attached screen shot on way to go. You need to select 'Domains' then scroll right down to 'Add Domain'.

You visit Site Rubix, select create website on Domain that l own and follow the instructions or you can refer to this lesson if need be All the best.

I had figured this out on my own but I see a TON of people asking about it all the time in the activity dashboard. Thank you for this blog, It'll be great! I've already shared it with one person that was talking about the site not looking anything like Kyle's video had shown it. It would be ridiculous to expect a new video every time a website tweaked something, but that is where these wonderful walkthroughs come into play!
