My affiliate has provided some products with photos where they have already embedded my links into it but I can't simply copy and paste into my page or post. Has this got to do
It depends on what kind of file you have.

This is one of the worst things about WordPress. First you need to add the images to your Media Library. Then you can include them in your posts or pages.
Hi, yes I think this is the only way I can do it. It's a bit of a shame as my affiliate has done pictures for me and pre coded it with my unique affiliate link and I'm supposedly just copy and paste it to my post.
There is a place to post the link. Put it there. The text thing should work also. If you still have issues I will give you a free plugin that will let you control the HTML placement.
Hi thanks a lot! I have asked my affiliate to change the photos into links and managed to paste it to my site. It's fine now but would be grateful to know the plugin in case I get some issues like this again.
use the editor - you have two views - the "text" is the source code - get the source code for whatever it is you want to "add" and paste it into the proper section of that "text" area source code then hit the other tab "view" to see how it looks. IF that doesn't work I need more info or you haven't got the source code to the "add" you want to make.
Hi, my affiliate gave me the raw HTML code and I've pasted it in "text" and it worked. You are correct with your instructions. It just means that I always have to request for it every time I get a gallery of photos to paste into my page/post. Thanks for the help and advise.
Glad it worked for you. That is one way to get your banner to post. Just paste that raw html code into a notepad file and save it to your computer in a folder. Name the foler something you'll remember and save it in my documents. You'll have it anytime you want it.

Did you try to copy (text editor) the code (Picture) itself and pasted it to your pages (at text editor too)? If yes, then this case is new to me too...Let me search for you then...=)
I have searched a worst case: "error in source the code ". Ms. LOES is an expert to this. You may follow her and submit the code of your pictures to her and she would be glad to repair it and give it back to you for you to paste at your pages...
